Villa Gloria — Hotel in Grad Poreč

We spent 2 weeks at Villa Gloria with 3 kids being in tennis camp. Having no rooms available in Gloria we were offered to stay in appartments 5 min walking distance. Suprising the fact, that no room service is supposed, no cleaning is included. We had breakfasts and dinners included in Gloria, breakfasts are very poor, with 2 kinds of yougurt available, ham and cheese (in the same plate). No coffee is served (untill you ask 2 times), for eggs you should also ask specially. For kids no food, 10 crousants was baked once an hour, that was nothing for 10 kids in tennis camp. Dinners were good, but a lot of potatoes, salad with cabbage, sausages, fat meat - not that you expect from a mediterenian vacation. Fish was a nice exception - we were told that to have fish you should ask a long ahead so chef goes to market and buy it. No cheques are provided to sigh after dinner for drinks - wine and juce, so it is suprising how they calculate it to make you pay when check out.||One nice place - is a pool, but nothing around! No place for jogging, biling - nothing in a village. To get to the see you should take taxi (one way 20 min = 30 euros to get to the closest place). Order taxi in hotel Gloria - need to wait 30 min, you should find a local driver to support you during the vacation.||If not the tennis camp - nothing to do in Villa Gloria! Boring, very poor service, nothing for kids (only the pool), nothing special on breakfasts and dinners (you can go to supermarket and purchase the same food for much less money). It is a family hotel - you meet all the family there. But even after you provide your eedback and recomendation, they don't care and don't try to make your staying more convenient and pleasant. Same problems every day - no cleaning service, no taxi, no food for kids, no fish on dinner. Wwe asked for apple juice 3 days - they sad "sorry, we still can not buy it..hopefully tomorow".||What we really appreciated - the ladies that served the dinnner, very nice and pleasant, and they cooked a good desserts! They spoke only croatian language (No english, german, italian, russian) which was hard for communication, but were much pleasant then Gloria family who own Villa Gloria and "take care" of guests.||||Tennis camp is OK, but only 2 one-hour trainings, no other excersises and preparations during the day. ||We spent 920 euro per person per week (2 hours daily tennis included) and got less then 3 stars service, accomodation, cousine and vacation! ||We settled all the questions finally and came to the mutual respect and agreement, but next year will definetely find better place, service and staying for...

Quiet villa surrounded by green scenery, nice and well maintained garden and large swimming pool, excellent food with a lot of fresh salad and fresh fish, octopus, delicious grilled chicken, sausages, home made lasagna, chicken sauce forestiere ... and delicious ice cream dessert. All this prepared a very friendly chef and nice staff dedicated to please guest and make their stay the best ever. ||Without forgetting the morning breakfast buffet with a great choice of items including fresh fruits, home made crepes and eggs cakes, fresh made jam, excellent coffee.. perfect to start the day!||The owner Manda is a very nice sensitive person who will do anything to make your stay agreeable, she makes you feel at home. ||This is a perfect base to visit Porec and its beautiful pine tree forest along the blue and turquoise sea, to go wine testing to the surrounding vineyards. etc||Room are very clean and spacious with a small balcony where 2...

Отдыхали с семьей в августе.О своем выборе виллы "Глория"очень пожалели.||Выбор делали в спешке,в процессе путешествия по Европе.Решающим фактором в выборе виллы "Глория"стал бассейн.||Номер на троих оказался крошечным,кровати занимают 80% площади комнаты,удобства тоже не порадовали.Маленькая угловая душевая кабина закрываеться матерчатой шторой,которая постоянно липнет к телу и мешает мыться,все остальное в том же духе.||За номер на двое суток с завтраком мы заплатили 330 евро.Вид на море - это узкая полоска синевы на горизонте,1 км. до пляжа - вранье.До ближайшего пляжа 3 км. по горной дороге,а до хорошего - 30 мин.на машине,стоянка возле пляжа 20 куно(около 3 евро) в час.||Завтрак вполне приличный.Хороший выбор мясной и сырной нарезки,блинчики,сухие завтраки.Удивила скудность порции овощей в южной стране в разгар сезона.Тарелка с помидорами и огурцами была очень скромной,если взять привычную порцию,другим гостям уже не останеться.Я не видела,чтобы тарелки пополнялись,во всяком случае в те 30 минут,пока я завтракала.||Возможно это мне не повезло,но в первый день я хлебнула совершенно прокисший апельсиновый сок,он был сильно охлажден и я не сразу разобралась,пришлось пить лекарства.На второй день с соком на завтраке было все в порядке.||В бассейне на дне оказался песок,было не понятно как он туда попал,так как вся територия виллы "Глория" покрыта зеленой травкой,кустами и плиткой.Чтобы бассейн чистили я тоже не видела,возможно мне не повезло,но плавать резко расхотелось.||Отдельно хотелось бы упомянуть бар - ресторан возле бассейна.||Удивило отсутствие меню и цен.Со слов бармена я поняла ,что вечером в бар приходит повар и можно будет прекрасно поужинать.В 8 вечера я заказала гриль-меню на трех человек и выяснила,что ужин обойдется нам в 30-40 евро.В городе можно было перекусить в два раза дешевле,но машину брать не хотелось,такси до города стоит 10-11 евро,а городского транспотра просто нет.||В 8:30 вечера я и моя семья спустились чтобы поужинать.Диваны в лаунж зоне казались намного удобнее стульев в обеденной зоне и мы совершили роковую ошибку - сели за столик в лаунж зоне и попросили официанта покормить нас тут.Ужин был уже заказан и оговорен,мы весело болтали в ожидании ужина.||Через 50 минут нас все еще не начали обслуживать,я поинтересовалась в чем проблема.Проблема была в том,что мы не там сидим.К слову, расстояние между столом в обеденной зоне и нашим было 1,5 метра.||Наш заказанный ужин даже не начинали готовить,по поводу предварительного заказа молчали,а вместо извинений за причиненные неудобства просто рассказали,что мы не там сидим,а объяснение зонирования столов не входит в обязанности официантов,это должны знать все.||Остались без ужина.Ушли голодные и униженные хамским,издевательским отношением.||Приеду ли я еще раз на виллу "Глория"? ...
