Old School — Hotel in Grad Rijeka

When I arrived they didn’t know I booked the dormitory room. I had already paid a week before and sent them a message, but there wasn’t a free room. There was no toilet paper, the shower was clogged and turned cold after 5 minutes, and the kitchen was quite dirty. The hostel is located in the mountains so you can only reach it by bus or car. The hostel is overally really nice, we had clean bed sheets, we could have some free stuff from the kitchen. What we were unsatisfied about were the other hosts in the hostel, there was a clear sign that stated “keep it clean, wash your own dishes” and almost everyone left their unwashed dishes in the sink and didn’t clean up after themselves, so the kitchen was always so dirty. It was so disrespectful to the owner. Boys clean up after yourself please. The beach was a bit far away...

Hi, I red online that they have these adorable 2 piglets. So I made reservations cause I had to see them. And I was absolutely astonished, they were all I ever dreamt a piglets should be. They are so sweet and funny, cuddly and very relaxed. They are like 2 little furry vacuum cleaners. Rest of the experience was excellent too. Owner is a swell guy. I felt very very safe. And it was veey peaceful with breathtaking view and loads of history within those walls. But...
