We stayed at the campsite in a camper van. There were no problems checking in, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The campsite looks new; not everything is finished yet and some parts are still under construction, but there was no construction noise or disruption. There is plenty to do for families. The old town of Rovinj is very beautiful, and we rented a boat (5 hp, 120 EUR/day, not really suitable for the Mediterranean). There are two large pools, or you can go straight into the Mediterranean. The food in the buffet restaurant was very good, and the prices there were reasonable. Now for the ‘BUT’ – the food at the snack bars was expensive and not very tasty (fries 5 EUR for a small portion, fish & chips 13.70 EUR). There was a very clear focus on making money in the park (on one side, the sun loungers and parasols were free, on the side closer to the water, they cost 15 EUR per sun lounger / 10 EUR per parasol per day). Otherwise, it's a very nice place for families. But if you want to save money, you shouldn't go to Camp Amarin ;). My overall rating is 3.5 (too much obvious money making focus).

If you are looking for a place to do camping, this could be a good place to start your search. Is a really huge place, each camping place is big enough to accommodate you and your family and friends. Inside you will find everything you need, you don’t need to go outside if you don’t want, of course inside prices are a little bit higher competed if you go outside to the small towns around. You will find a min Golf area, tenis, volleyball, two different pools, areas for kids, big dining restaurants, ice cream, bar of course you have the sea in front of you including many water sports. There is a boat Taxi that is going almost every 30 minutes from the campsite to Rovinj which is a wonderful place! Of course if you are not doing camping but you are looking for an apartment they have as well apartments in all sizes next to the camp.

If you are looking for a very organized, modern place you'll probably enjoy staying there. They have multiple facilies: pool, watersports, livemusic, movienights, glamping, impeccable, state of the art bathrooms... you name it! If you're looking for a more basic, natural stay you still might be disappointed, as were the people we where travelling with, who had known the place from a few years ago. They remembered staying on fresh meadows under trees, everybody could pick their own spot... I must admit that sort of campsite mostly isn't too popular these days but there still might be a little crowd looking for exactly this basic form of camping. We were! Why not reserve a small "free zone" area at the back of the site for people like us? Just a suggestion!

We just got back from 6 nights there camping in our camper. This is decent place but we would probably not go there again. I say it is too big, they have also apartments and the grocery store, and reception is a ten minute walk from the camper area we were in. The camp sites are big enough but many are sloping, they have grass and there are a lot of trees. Others have complained about the bathrooms cleanliness, etc. But we found them to be very clean in fact it seemed that every time I went in there someone was cleaning it. There are many small toilet and wash up areas scattered around so one is always close they are a bit old, but well maintained, the showers have no dressing area but they are adequate, The hot water seemed to run out every night so take your shower early. The beach area is rocky, and there are lots of rocks when entering the water. The beach near the camp sites is small and the water is not that clear. The boats taking people to Rovigno dock there so I saw some oil slicks on the water a bit out. They have two nice pools, that are not that big but one has to pay to sit in a lounge chair or have an umbrella. You can't bring your own to the pool. That alone was enough to make me not want to go there again. Also I think the pools and beach are open to anyone who arrives by boat or whatever. There is a long beach away from the camping if one wants to walk a bit. The place seems to be very popular with the long stay trailer people from all over Europe. There are no or very few areas where on can see the water from a camp site. So you are pretty much closed into your spot with a view of the campers, trailers etc around you. Overall this is an ok place, no major complaints but nothing great either. It...

The premium mobile home was exceptional and we appreciated the change of bedding/towels during our stay. The grounds & facilities were first class & would recommend on that basis. It was very disappointing that the spray park wasn't open during our stay as I was told after booking that it would be open mid June 2025. The new supermarket and the Sea Salt zone were fantastic. I was very disappointed over the high surcharges everywhere however. As we stay regularly in France who are known for their exceptional campsites and all the facilities are included, it was hard to understand high additional fees for guests. The tennis clay courts were in great condition but I paid way more to hire it than I would in the UK! These were too expensive. Also we got bored sitting in the same sunbed area for Camp Amarin guests. All Resort Amarin & Camp Amarin guests should have the freedom to choose whether they want to be by the beach, pool or pebble area. To charge me 10 euros per sunbed per day to be on the beach or by the pool is an insult after paying 3,700 euros to stay. Also the site was extremely busy ( not surprising as they have such a vast number of pitches, mobile homes & apartments) so I don't understand why they allow visitors to use the facilities? It should be for guests only. I saw families every day who couldn't find a sunbed. It felt like another opportunity for Amarin to make some more money. I would recommend Camp Amarin for it's facilities but with a warning that it's very expensive & I felt like a second class citizen being confined to the pebble sunbed zone! Although I have given a 5 star rating, I would give 2 for...

The campsite was great. It could have had a bit more shade, but overall was very good. Pitches are spatious and differ in the availability of shade. Some have a lot, others have none. Be aware of rocks in the surface, you will need strong pins to place your tent. Toilets and showers are continuously cleaned, it almost looks like the cleaners are living there. Great work and many thanks for that! The pool is crowded but not to much. The water quality next to the pier is a bit lower due to floating stuff on the water. 100 meter to the left or right and the water is clean and clear. The only downside is that the free sunbeds are there where you do not want to swim, or in the harbour where swimming is prohibited. The prices of rental sunbeds is way to much, especially since the sun burns your skin of while being unprotected. Because of the high price of the camping this could have been included or a more reasonable price. The 4 star is not a five star because of the price of the camping. The only downside is a more common issue. In the past campsites had a long term stay area and a short stay area. Now you see mostly campers coming and going for no longer than three days. Why not make a travellers section and a long stay section? It gives more rest and social bonding as people get to know their neighbours. The campers make the campsite look like a parking lot, rather than a campsite. Even though this is a broader movement, I think each campsite can look like a real camping with a...
