Villa Aurum — Hotel in Grad Rovinj

Room was clean and comfortable, away from any traffic or other noise. The villa is surrounded by trees that also provide a lot of natural shade, both for the villa and the parking spots. It is less than a minute walk away from a gated beach. Villa and Beach are suited, families, people looking for a getaway or for people with disabilities. The positive: Very calm and beautiful spot in Rovinj with its own access to the beach surrounded by nature, honestly the best views of rovinj, clean rooms and very good staff service. Das Hotel ist ein ehemaliges Sanatoriums-Gebäude. Auf dem Gelände ist immer noch eine Reha Klinik und andere, teils baufällige Gebäude. Das Hotelgebäude zeigt seine früher Nutzung als Sanatorium. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist geschmackvoll, die (neuen) Bäder nicht gelungen: Winzige Waschbecken fehlende Duschabtrennung: Das Duschwasser überschwemmt das Bad. Frühstücksraum so klein, dass kaum Gäste hinein passen, Gedränge bei der Saft- und Brötchenausgabe. In Anbetracht von viel Platz drum herum fragt man sich: Warum so klein? Drei Punkte für die idyllische Lage und den alten Baumbestand auf dem Gelände. Hotel nur zu empfehlen, wenn man alte Parks, abgelegene Lage und leichte Patina mag. Mindestens eine halbe Stunde zu Fuss nach Rovinij. Man kann Fahrräder vorbestellen, werden ins Hotel geliefert - mit dem Fahrrad ca 8 Minuten...
