Lavica — Hotel in Grad Samobor

Third time is the charm! Great restaurant at Lavaca Hotel! We tried two other restaurants that were closed at the height of tourist season to have their own holidays. Lavica had great outdoor seating which borders on a tree lined street. It was a beautiful evening to sit outdoors. The service was excellent and we were attended to quickly and professionally. We ordered the veal and roasted potatoes off their daily special board and it was fabulous and melt in your mouth tender! A mixed salad of tomatoes, green and red cabbage completed this meal for me. I overheard the waiter speaking good English at the next table so that staff here is bilingual. I would definitely come back here, plus Samobor is so quaint and charming and once you park can stroll around to the center to have a slice...

Great location just off the main square. Very large bathroom. Full size tub and shower. Clean room, comfortable bed. This was a nice corner room with very large windows facing both directions. Didn't eat the included breakfast but it looked decent. There's a nice covered outdoor patio with tables and chairs extended from the restaurant.||||Furnishings are a bit dated and worn, but clean. The hallway had a large stain in the carpet. The hallway also smelled of smoke on the afternoon of check in, but no smell in the room. Not sure if it was coming from another room or if someone had smoked in the hall. A few hours later there was no smell...

Thank you Lavica! We booked Lavica for our wedding party. The place was perfect for our 100 guests. Service was exceptionell and we everyone was served polite until the morning hours. Food and drinks of the hotel were amazing and reasonably priced. The Lavica is central in Samobor, historic church, nature parks, tracking as well as shopping opportunities are near.
