Family Puškarić — Hotel in Grad Slunj

short version:||||we had a horrible stay here:||||the so called two bedroom private appartement actually was a three room place.||the third room was rented out to different people each night.||||so no privacy at all!!||||it was our worst holiday ever!!||||||long version:||||we are now back home from our horrible stay and wish to ||give you the entire story of all that went wrong at family puskaric||||||a lot of people tend to not react because they don't want to ruin their holiday with bad vibes,||||but we decided to put a lot of effort into this |||| we hope to prevent others from having the same horrible experience.||||||||||here's our story:||||||we booked an appartement with two bedrooms via booking.com||||when we got there, the lady showed us the appartment,||||everything looked fine,||however,||there was one room in the appartement she just did not speak of..||||when we asked what was behind the door, she said that there were people sleeping there ,||but that they would leave at 6 in the morning.||||we did not want to be to difficult so we said to ourselves ok fine||this is not what we agreed upon , but still||when they leave tommorrow, ||the appartement will be ours..||||the next day when we asked for the key of the appartment we booked,||she said : you have the key to your room..||||that's when we found out that the room there was booked out to other people every single night.||which meant that every night when we were in bed,||she would come into our appartment to which we did not get any key, with other people ||showing them the room..||||waking us up,||||every time we had to use the bathroom we had to make sure we were decent, night and day.||we also shared the hallway and the seating area.||||when we asked why they lied to us in the advert they said that they tried to change it but that booking.com won't allow it.||||which sounded like more lies to us..||this was confirmed by booking||||so we called booking and they tried to contact them without reply,||eventhough we knew they were there all the time.||||we were woken up every night when the doorbell rang||because they live in the same building under us,||they could be reached by stairs that were covered with some wood. ||||after a few days we even noticed by talking to the other guests that all doors, including the one from the people who were staying in our appartement basicially alll have identical keys,||which meant strangers could wander in whenever they felt like and viceversa!!||||-so we rented a two bedroom appartment, but they didn't have one, eventhough we payed for one and so they lied to us in the advert..we got|| a room in a guesthouse instead||they won't change the info on the website||there was no privacy, and there were very thin walls.||we coudn't open our windows without bumping into someone' head because the seating area of the other accomodation was right next to ours.||||-same keys to all doors( which means we we had basically had no real key of anything...)||||-they didn't want to give any form of compensation.||-the guy tried to bribe me with a drink of schnapps.||||- very poor english so very hard to communicate||||- although we personally have no interest in tv,||the advert also says there's a tv in every room and we did not have a tv anywhere.||||we checked the reviews and there are several people with the same experiences there ..||||oh yes and strangely we now got an email saying we never checked in?||that is very odd to say...

The house is nice, easily located by car, there is a big and convenient parking lot. The guest section of the house is pretty private, has a separate entrance, a terrace and a small lobby with a sofa, fridge and electric kettle. The room itself is clean, bed - good enough, bathroom spacious and clean. Towels were provided. There is no AC, but our room was not on the sunny side, so it was manageable with the open window. ||||Minuses:||- no AC||- no kitchenware ||- far...

Wir (2 Erwachsene, ca 30 Jahre) haben nach einem Ort gesucht, an dem wir nach einem langen Tag an den Plitvicer Seen ohne viele Menschen entspannen können. Wir waren mit dem Wohnmobil unterwegs. Der deutschsprachige Besitzer hat uns super freundlich empfangen und wir hatten die freie Wahl der 6 Stellplätze, die wunderschön im Grünen gelegen sind. Jeder Platz hat eine Strom und Wasserversorgungsstelle. Spülplatz, Abwasser und Chemietoilettenentsorgung sind vorhanden. Die Sanitäranlagen sind wie neu und total sauber und gepflegt, wirklich toll! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Total ruhig und privat, nicht überfüllt und Preis-Leistung sind top, 200 Kuna = 28€, sind mehr als angebracht! Der Ort Slunj liegt ca 30 Fahrminuten nördlich der Seen, im Ort selbst gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, einen Badeplatz am Fluss, alles fußläufig in ca 1-1,5 km zu erreichen.
