Guesthouse Žalac — Hotel in Grad Slunj

😊: This was the perfect place to start off our Croatian vacation. This location had free parking, a fantastic restaurant on site serving great coffee and cevapi. The hosts and staff were absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful, and took time to chat and provide us with information as needed. They treated us like family! The room was spacious and very clean with a small kitchenette to keep the leftovers cold. The location was great, set far enough from the busy road so you didn't hear anything, a short drive to the town of Slunj, and just across the street from the beautiful Rastoke. The local historical village of Cetingrad was nearby and this was the perfect launching pad for our adventures on the Mreznica River, visiting family in Karlovac, and visits with family.. 😢: It was perfect. 😊: The bed was super comfy and the sheets soft and fluffy. Our room was facing the forest and we loved hearing the birds and crickets. We are greatefull that it offered the posibility for late booking, late check-in. Loved the pictures and the wals and their messages❤️. 😢: We really enjoyed our stay and mostly it was right what we needed. 😊: It was well placed for our visit to Plitvice Lakes. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed including air con, tv and a small fridge.
