Idyllic villa with pool, view, near Split — Hotel in Grad Solin

We stayed at Ana and Petar's villa in May 2023 as a group of 11 family and friends, including my two year old son. The property is set up across two floors (the third floor is host storage), with three bedrooms on each of the two floors, and each floor with its own living room. The bottom floor living room opens up onto the pool and outdoor patios with breathtaking views of Solin, Split, and the mountains.

We hired cars and were able to make easy trips to the surrounding areas, including Solin, Split, Trogir, Omis, Krka National Park, Klis Fortress, and Marjan Park (which is a great spot for swimming).

Petar met us when we arrived to show us around the villa. He was extremely welcoming and friendly, and he and Ana had kindly left us meats, cheeses, fruit, fresh water, and juice. We met Ana in the day afterwards as she came to look after the garden and her family's pet turtles - which my son absolutely loved! We were invited to use the salad and radishes growing in the garden for our own cooking.

The villa has everything that you could need for a comfortable stay and Ana was always on hand if we had any questions (even before we arrived, Ana was exceptionally quick to reply to my messages). Her son kindly brought up a box of toys for my own son to play with. We felt very at home and had a wonderful stay.

There are 3 apartments in the same house. We used 2 of them with 6 bedrooms. We were 7 adults and 5 kids. Out of 6 bedrooms 2 klimas didn't work properly. The land lady was very nice. The pool was clean and everything was like in the pictures or described. The kitchen was very good equipped with enough plates and everything you need. They put as a welcome a plate of food and by the grill was already a full bag of coal. All in all...
