Kamena Lodge — Hotel in Grad Solin

This was my second visit to the lodge! I had the most fantastic time! We paid for the transfers and Glynn was there waiting for us. The accommodation was delightful again, the weather was chilly when we arrived so Ann ensured we did get cold! The sun loungers and pool were lovely. There is a fridge on site that you can buy drinks from which is handy and the prices are great.

Glynn and Ann were great hosts again, always a game or two going on in the evenings and nothing was too much trouble x

this year we used Uber’s - they were about £5- £6 to get the Split which is fab!

Glynn and Ann recommended some great places to eat and visit -

Antonio’s Pizzaria is just down the road and the food is great - we recommend this!

in Split they recommended Masalina - hidden away but well known to the locals so book - this is a must! Have the steak!

I stayed here for 3 nights, in May 2018. From the great facilities, to an outstanding hospitality and a lot of local knowledge, the place really is beautiful. Situated in the laid-back village of Mravince, overlooking the city and the sea from the front terrace, the lodge is a perfect basis for those (like me) who not only want to go to the city of Split, but also see something of the surrounding area. There is a bus stop nearby, so with public transport, the city centre really is close and easy to reach. Nonetheless, I was with car, so the free parking and accessibility were an ease. 3 nights were too short and Glynn and Ann really made me feel welcome, as part of the family. Next time I will enjoy the day trips...

We really enjoyed our stay at Ann and Glynns wonderful logde. Except for the one small issue that there were'nt any aircondition in the rooms (got a little too hot for two vikings from the north, but they did everything they could to make us comfortable with fans and windows), everything was perfect! The hosts, all the information and help we got, the beautiful view and the gardens. It felt like a home. We stayed here for the first half and in an Air Bnb-appartment for the rest of our week long trip. We felt we got the best of both worlds; first the chance to meet other travellers and then a little time to ourselves. Perfect! Love from Elisabeth and Simen...
