Kaša Rooms 1 — Hotel in Grad Split

We stayed at Kasa Family Hotel in Split for 5 days, and it was one of the most heartwarming vacation experiences we’ve ever had. From the very beginning, we felt less like hotel guests and more like visiting family in Croatia.

Marko, our host, met us right on time near the hotel, helped us with parking, and didn’t even let us carry our luggage – a small gesture that says a lot. He personally showed us our apartment, gave us all the details we needed, and made sure everything was set up perfectly for a comfortable stay. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and had a thoughtful touch – a complimentary mini bar with a great selection of drinks.

Throughout our stay, Marko was always available via message for anything we needed – beach gear, local tips, or any questions. His readiness to help at any time made everything smooth and relaxed.

We also opted for lunch with breakfast, and that turned out to be an excellent decision. The portions were generous, the flavors were amazing, and the atmosphere was cozy and friendly. Marko even joked that we don’t eat much – but trust me, the food was delicious and filling! My personal recommendations: the steak and chicken salad for breakfast – both were outstanding.

The location of the hotel is another big plus: just a 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach and right next to a charming port. If you’re traveling by car like we were, there’s a large supermarket only 10 minutes away, but even on foot, local stores are easily accessible.

One of the most touching moments was late on a Sunday night around 11 PM. I casually asked Marko’s father if there were any snacks available, not expecting much since everything was closed. He simply asked what I wanted – I said French fries and a drink – and without hesitation, he told me to wait 10 minutes. They made it for me with a smile, and when I tried to pay, he just said, “Go enjoy your dinner.” That moment of kindness truly showed that this place is run not just with professionalism, but with genuine care and love.

Kasa Rooms & Grill Bar is more than just a place to stay – it’s a heartfelt experience. It’s run by a family that truly loves what they do, and it shows in every detail. If you’re visiting Split and want to feel at home, this is the best choice you can make.

I cannot say how thankful we are to have stayed at Marko's family's apartment. From the time we first arrived, he was on WhatsApp with us, and waited outside the apartment to show us the private parking area which was 1 minutes walk away. He offered us a drink and snacks, and carried our luggages up to the room. He was always attentive and helpful yet non intrusive. Very good with suggestions and thanks to him we managed to book our blue cave trip for the next day (because we were so last minute). Room was clean, spacious and comfortable.... what was truly special was the home made breakfast which was better than most hotels we have stayed at. We had so many options --- and in the end I had fruit platter with yogurt followed by a really well prepared omelette with ham and veg, and ended with pancakes with Nutella and bananas. It was brunch and it's now 4pm and I'm still thinking about that breakfast. Service is top notch - our tour started at 730am and Marko made sure we had full breakfast at 630pm and even dropped us off the tour office. And in the evening when he knew we were trying to see the sunset, he took us in his car and dropped us off just to make sure we wouldn't miss it. We of course insisted on paying for the drop offs as well as laundry they helped get done because we know they are a family business.... and we really hope they will be successful so that we can come back again. We would recommend this place to anyone who stays near split. Best decision ever. ❤️...

We heartfully want to thank Marco and his family for the hospitality. We stayed 5 nights and the whole experience was excellent!!! The rooms are very clean , spacious and have all the needed facilities. The breakfast is more than excellent !! Everything is homemade cooked and from good and fresh materials. The Kaša Family run also a restaurant in the evening. During our stay in the area of Split , we ate the best food at their restaurant. Moreover Marco is always very polite and friendly. He was always available to answer all our questions and gave us many tips about the region. He gave his best to make our experience exceptional. Tip - don’t leave without trying his mother...
