Villa Oriolus Spalato — Hotel in Grad Split

Before deciding to leave this review i did do everything i could to avoid coming to this conclusion however, after no further communication from the host i feel its necessary to have my say-

I contacted Meri at the start of June on Airbnb asking to book this villa for specific dates the following June for 3 nights in 2026 for my hen do if it was available (the dates hadn't yet been released) i said i would get back in touch in a few months when the dates were available. In the meantime i had noticed the minimum nights had changed to 4 so i got in touch to check this and Meri said she was happy to accept the 3 night stay as i had already enquired prior to the change, she offered me a very reasonable price for the villa which i found hard to believe so i confirmed the price more than once for the amount of guests and she assured me this is the cost, no surprises. I done this to ensure there was no confusion as i had officially told my hen party the dates and price for this villa which meri has confirmed with me (messages to prove)

When i got in touch with her a couple of days ago to officially book the villa i asked if she could send me the email link for payment which only she could amend due to the restriction of 4 nights minimum on Airbnb on my end- she responded saying she can't because the price was higher and it couldn't be for 3 nights 6 months in advance, so i asked how i am supposed to make payment for the nights she had confirmed with me, her response was accusing me of requesting completely different dates, apparently had no idea what i was talking about and told me to find another villa. not only was she incredibly rude with her response but also behaved as if we had never had a conversation regarding this booking previously. After feeling taken back by her response i explained the conversation we had previously had for her to ignore me after trying to resolve the miscommunication, i later sent another message explaining we must have got wires crossed and very politely asked if it would be possible to book this villa when i was again, ignored.

In all of our previous messages i have been nothing by polite, confident we had a mutual understanding of my request. Meri- if you looked over our previous messages you would see i am not at fault for this and have been clear from the start. If you would've been willing to discuss the miscommunication with me I would not be leaving this review but the ignorance has left my feeling upset and incredibly frustrated, so i felt this was the only way i could make a point after this...

My family and I recently spent seven incredible days in this villa , and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the host, who truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect.

The villa itself was immaculate, with every room spotless and well-maintained. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the comfortable bedding to the fully equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay. The design of the villa blended modern amenities with a charming and homy touch, making it feel both luxurious and homely.

One of the highlights was the outdoor space. The villa featured a stunning pool with crystal-clear water (which our family little one absolutely loved), perfect for relaxing and cooling off during the warm Croatian days. The garden was beautifully landscaped, offering a peaceful and private retreat where we could enjoy our morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

The location was also ideal. We were close to local attractions, yet the villa was secluded enough to provide a serene and tranquil environment. Whether we wanted to explore the nearby beaches, visit historical sites, or simply relax, everything was within easy reach by car.

Our host deserves special mention for their exceptional hospitality. They were always available to answer our questions, provide local recommendations. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home and truly enhanced our experience.

Overall, our week at this villa was nothing short of magical. It was the perfect base for exploring the beauty of Croatia, and the combination of a wonderful host, pristine accommodation, and a fantastic location made it a trip we will cherish forever. We would return in...

We searched for quiet home with pool for our last part of the vacantion. Villa Oriolus Split was the perfect match. It's located in a quite wonderfull place in the mountains but still very close to the sea. The villa is amazing, the kitchen and dinner area where perfect. The swimming pool was very loved by our kids. The rooms where fairly big and the beds extremely cosy....
