I donโt normally complain when book via Booking.com but this time we got a hotel room like from Adamโs Family! ๐คฆโโ๏ธ Pictures on booking or google lies! Please check mine. We were visiting Split for one day on the way to Montenegro in August and Barat overnight only. Doors wouldnโt lock without key turned in. Bed matterace with springs and ripped covers. In the bathroom, next to the toilet an old-school telephone(not working) barely hanging. Connected with some wires just under it๐ณ. Hair dryer without hose to dry your hair. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ Air conditioning works whenever want it. Several light bulbs are missed and only two sockets worked for electricity. ๐คทโโ๏ธ Handles in the room furniture falls out and curtains cut not to fit the windows but more to cover the tables! ๐ Very poor hi-gene level. Silicon around bath spreads everywhere around the bath. At the reception an older lady without idea how to proceed check-out or how to use card terminal, printer, email etc. Weโve lost 35 minutes waiting to pay for one night and get receipt ( without any cue). Coffee for the breakfast taste like โฆ.. shocking! Absolutely ๐คฎ. One day after weโve left, kids developed some bug/ stomach flu. Two days later myself and a wife as well. Hard to say what cause it, but weโre fine until we visited this place. Completely overrated hotel by Booking.com It shouldnโt have any stars โญ๏ธ at all!!! I advise anyone to stay away from it and not get caught like ourselves....

Due to a cancellation we ended up being the only 2 people on the activity week, but what we lost in 'social stuff' was more than compensated for by the helpfulness and attention of all the hotel staff. Whilst the hotel is quite basic it provides everything you need, and the location right on the river cetina Is beautiful, with always something to look at. The food was amazing, especially the fresh bread served with every meal. Plenty to eat, of great quality, and freshly prepared by the kitchen staff. All the activities were great, and gave a wonderful experience of this river and surrounding area, the wildlife and scenery was beautiful. Trilj itself is a quiet 'crossroad' town, but there is plenty to do and see if you walk around, the church, the roman site, the fortress etc. There are plenty of bars for evening drinks! Our week was made extra special by the time given to us by Simon, Nevan, Antonia and all the staff, who spent time giving us an insight into Croatian life, many many...
ย ย ย Read moreWe had a great time at Sv. Mihovil hotel. While the hotel is a bit dated and rooms have a mixture of modern and old amenities (for example there is a nice modern shower and elevator, but the windows in our room were creaky and almost impossible to close), the hotel owners take care of everything well and are very helpful with directions to anything you might need and even with organizing transfers to/from nearby towns. ||||We especially enjoyed their tasty breakfast and the charming vibe of the outdoor pool, though it being a bit late in the season already the water was quite cold.||||The hotel is located just 5 minutes away from a wonderful suspension bridge (an impressive architectural landmark) over the Cetina river and 5-10 minutes away from Trilj's beautiful Sv. Mihovil church. A farm where you can see and ride horses is a 20 minute walk away. There is also an amazing restaurant just across the street.||||If you're coming to the Dalmatian Hinterlands, this is definitely the...
