Hotel Villa Valpovo — Hotel in Grad Valpovo

The staff for the most part were great however the owner was rude, unprofessional and unwelcoming. She gossiped about my guests to other guests with discussing implications and attempted to verbally abuse my 17 year old visitor when she was alone at night waiting outside. This is unacceptable as the owner she should have spoken to me or my mother as we were the guests if she had any problems, however she attacked my girlfriend. Not only that but she was shown to be scamming my mother as when the owner was serving drinks at the cafe she charged an extra 20cents more than what her staff usually do when serving drinks. The "breakfast" if you could call it that was also poor for the money paid. It was often left to sit for hours in the morning with no new food cycled through but instead left to sit with the assortment of fly filled cheese and soggy sausages. The emptiness of the restaurant speaks loud and all of this adding up made a very unpleasant experience in which the nasty owner made us feel unwelcome and disgusted by her behaviour. Her 4 stars are an obvious scam as she is too tight and money hungry to be worthy of even 1 star and that is evident by the series of 1 star reviews that she has earned. We stayed at the Hotel Villa Valpovo for 4 days in early June. Not everyone who works there understandably speaks english but they had one employee (Vesna Jug) who spoke english very well. She was extremely friendly and helpful. She couldn't do enough for you. When we had breakfast after the first night, we told her that we were vegetarians. The next day the hotel had made 4 special vegetarian items for our breakfast. The Breakfast room is large and cheery, with windows all around and the colour of the room in yellow.||||Our room was typical (I'm giving this hotel a rating of 4 for its excellent friendly and helpful attitude, but the room is really a 3 star). It is unbelievably how can one person , in this case , most important one , the owner ||(if i understood well) spoil your stay and whole day ,even how can that kind of person work in that kind of business .||She's trying to steal from you , deny any service ,she's rude ,(someone before me said it better : "ruuuuuuuude").
