Villa Mara — Hotel in Grad Vis

I cannot believe how amazing this hotel is. The hospitality and service is unprecedented. Everyone who works here treats you like family….wine and cocktails served as an amenity, incredible breakfast, high end furnishings and fire pits everywhere. You feel like family at a Luxary resort. One block from the beach and a great walk through million dollar neighborhood to town. Complimentary Bikes available for a quick ride to town. Everything is so stylish and well appointed. We are pretty picky when it comes to high end hotels and this fits the bill. You will not be disappointed when you stay here. The best place to stay in Carmel. The staff is amazing. George is the manager and treats everyone like gold, Jonathan is so caring and takes care of everyone’s needs, and the owner Dev is so generous and just wants to have his property be the place that everyone enjoys and appreciates. The villa is amazing on first sight. It's very modern with nice art and an amazing view. The pool looks amazing as well as the interior. But it's not a home for people who like to cook/live in this house a lot. Some things weren't fully thought through, like we couldn't move the table and it was too close to the kitchen. We couldn't watch TV (the card was missing even though it was in the description) nor listen to the radio (It had a nice sound bar for phones). It had way to less plates, dishes and no extraction hood, no microwave (wasn't in the description but would have been helpful). It's really nice to live this near to the port and still have a nice view/pool. It's clear that they try to keep the house in the state it is, which is really nice, no damages. The pool was too cold, we couldn't use it.

I'd give 5 Stars for the looks and 4 for equipment but the view really made up the one point less. Thank you for letting...

The service is excellent, the house looks very modern and the view is out of this world. The kitchen is very neat, looks fancy and everything works. The location is very close to the city and the beach. The rooms are beautiful and sunny, the firepit is cozy and the temperature of the pool is just perfect! The place is surrounded by plant life and fine stylized sculptures. Sitting next to the pool and looking over at the beautiful sea will truly help you relax. Would come here every year with friends and family. Definitely would recommend it. Five stars for the Villa and five stars for an overall experience.
