Villa S & S — Hotel in Općina Čavle

For me, this place is highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. The smiles are true and the help is real. The hotel was spotless and the food was excellent. I ate a very tasty meal every night, topped off with a variety of delicious Croatian beer. I don’t remember the brews’ names, all I remember is that they all tasted great and I slept like a baby. Oh, and if you need to go to downtown Rijeka (or any other place for that matter) talk to the staff and they will get you in contact with ‘Taxi Cameo.’ Trust me Taxi Cameo is the best taxi you can get. The price is right; the cars are clean, and the drivers were super friendly. Oh wait, I got off topic, this is supposed to be about the “Hotel Sandi.” Well it actually is. I am pointing out the excellent customer service provided by the hotel. I mean, come on. Anyone else who travels a lot will understand the importance of getting affordable and good taxi service. Now this doesn’t happen all the time when I am on-the-road, but often, when I would ask the front desk of some ‘big-store hotel’ for a taxi, they would phone one of their ‘relative’s’, overpriced, limo service. We had a wonderful overnight stay on our way home from vacation. From the very first greeting, we felt truly pampered. The staff were exceptionally welcoming—even offering to help with our luggage, showing us to our room, even surprising us with a small lavender sachet as a parting gift.

The room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Dinner was a real highlight: homemade gnocchi and ravioli with a fresh salad—absolutely delicious. Breakfast the next morning was just as enjoyable.

This lovely family run hotel is situated down a quiet road, We stayed here for 1 night on our travels home from Croatia, the room was nice, clean and very welcoming. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and ate outside, the meal was delicious large portions and very tasty..
