We booked this,so called "hotel",during the month of july this year, and, where do I start,it was the worst place we ever set our foot in.|Over the years my wife, our two boys and myself have stayed in hotels all over the world,as we normally take up to three holiday's per year.We were in neighbouring Hercegovina visiting my parents, when we decided to book and stay somewhere in Croatia for a week.I got in touch with manager, made arrangements over the phone and next day we traveled to Baška Voda.On arrival, we noticed that all place was pure basic, despite being told that all "hotel" was done up three years beforehand. We got to our room where we found student lookalike accommodation. Immediately,we asked for a table which we didn't have only to be told NO.Extra chair was not available either. No mirror in the room either. We were told, that there was a nice big mirror at the reception. No phone in the room,no hairdryer, 14 inch Tv,with THREE channels, total disaster. We were told that we can eat only between 6-7pm,as from 7-9 there are very busy.Girl at reception was flat out busy playing with her mobile phone. As we dreaded, evening meal turned out to be horrible, food was disaster, we wre given 4 apples for dessert, although we were told, choice of several desserts was available. As we were dreading staying for one night, never mind seven, that we originally booked for,we couldn't wait to get out of place.|Next morning, I explained to receptionist that we will be leaving and were told that we would have to wait for manager,as she couldn't do anything herself. In the end he spoke to me over the phone, called me all different names, and threatened to call police if we left.As I speak croatian,I told him to go ahead and do that,as we did nothing wrong. Then he told us that we can check out, followed by more insults . That day we checked in lovely 4* hotel and had an unforgettable week.|That place, especially management is total disgrace to Croatia and croatian people and should be closed immediately. |The WORST and most horrifying...
Read moreThe standard of the rooms follow an absolute minimum, about the same level as an average prison cell in many European countries, except there is a shower and there are no bars on the windows. They do clean, however: don't look under the mattress, theres is dust there from the 90s. The mirror is set at thigh levels in the living room and there is a 12 inch TV with 3 channels. There is no fridge. The air-conditioner settings don't work well, or are not easy to understand, so the temperature is either hot, or freezing cold, way out of sync with the settings. Now, these are the minor flaws. The major flaw is the complete lack of service attitude among the 1 person working there who is available. The attitude is mostly "I don't care, not my problem". Not only will they not do your laundry, they have no clue where you can and will not make any effort to find out. The same goes for ordering a taxi. With no real services provided, no fridge, an absolute minimum of room standard, this is not a hotel. It is, at best, a hostel with a key. If your looking for a good and relaxing experience, steer clear...
Read moreWell, where to start. I was in "hotel" Dubrovnik how it is called in agency from my local town. Dubravka call it a hostel. It is not hotel since there is no restaurant in same object where I stayed. We have to go to beach restaurant 10 minutes from our room. No fruit or anything like that for breakfast, lunch or dinner, no way that you can take something from tables, you will eat what is brought to you on table. Menu is limited to two dishes for dinner. My wife suffered on day of food poisoning, no doctor around and staff were not helpful at all, as it is only our problem while we only eaten from their contracted beach restaurant. Rooms are something, glasses for toothbrushes were not cleaned, what can be seen. They were not cleaned for ages even they (glasses) are in bags with sign "cleaned for your safety" I attached pictures. Beach is close, and car park is great but eating...
