Apartmani Gospodi — Hotel in Općina Cerovlje

We stayed at the Gospodi apartment for four nights when we visited a friend in Umag and we had a great time.

This place is actually a tiny village with just two residents, Dean and his wife. They are the hosts of the apartments. Dean gave us a warm welcome and it felt immediately like we were visiting a good friend. He offered us a drink, showed us around and gave us a lot of tips of places to visit.

Dean and his father are renovating the houses and they are doing a great job. They are dedicated to keep the authentic look and feel. We stayed at the apartment with a separate bedroom, private bathroom, fully equipped private kitchen, and a private terrace under a grapevine. Everything was spotless clean and every room has airconditioning.

There are donkeys, sheep, and chickens in the garden. This gem is located a couple of minutes from the highway so it is an ideal base to discover Istria. You will not hear traffic. You will only hear the birds.

If you want to stay in a quiet place to unwind or when exploring Istria, away from the busy shoreline, but close to everything, I highly recommend the place. I will definitely book this apartment again when I get...

Location: You are in the middle of Istria, so it‘s perfect for day trips because everything is very close. It‘s a very quite place to be, so you can relax and chill.

Appartment: Dean and his Dad built everything on their own, put a lot of effort in it and did a great job! Cozy Appartment, lovely outdoor kitchen. Dean has many animals: Sheeps, Chicken and two lovely donkeys called Gina and Luna! You can pet and feed them. Also, there is a small playground. So it‘s a great place to come with kids, too.

Host: Dean is the perfect host. He gave us so much information and recommendations for activities, restaurants etc. He spent a lot of time with us and we talked a lot. He is also very attentive.

We were so lucky to find this gem in beautiful Istria! The rooms are so big and comfortable. The owner and his Dad fixed up this place from scratch. You have to stay here also especially for the animals in the farm. Great for kids too. We loved Gina and Luna, the 2 pet donkeys who should the mascots of this friendly, comfortable, amazing guesthouse. And to top it all...the hosts Dean & Andrea, who went out of their way to be as hospitable as possible. They took time every day to see us and have a drink with us. It's just like visiting a friend! The guesthouse location is perfect to explore nearby towns...we visited Hum and Pula and it was just a short drive away. Book this place immediately as there are only a few rooms available!! 10 out...
