You get low quality for a low price. The hotel has potential, it is located by the port, with a nice view. Well, if the area is full of garbage, old tiles, thrown away chairs, generally a garbage can. It's a pity because it could be nice. It's not even worth mentioning the beach advertised as a hotel beach, it's a tragedy. Fortunately, there is a nice, small beach nearby. There is a cafe and a few tables downstairs. In the morning, after 6 o'clock!!! local men arrive and it begins. Terrible noise, noise and cigarette smoke make it impossible to open the window in the morning. It's like this all morning, it's unbearable when you open the window in the morning and instead of the fresh sea breeze, cigarette smoke enters the room and you hear noise and screams, instead of admiring the beautiful view in the morning silence. It's nothing because in the evening it's exactly the same - plus wild music. You won't open the window at night again because there's a party and terrible noise until the morning. You can open the window for an hour!!!! between 5 and 6 a.m. because then there is a moment of silence. Eventually the partygoers went to bed. I don't know which direction this hotel is heading, but they certainly don't care about their guests' good stay. The rooms seem to have been renovated, but cables hanging from the ceiling, shelves not screwed down, the overall impression of an apartment being renovated. Clean bedding, towels, new, clean bathroom. The cabinets had no handles, the staff put insulating tape instead of a handle on the cabinet so that it could be opened. The photo of the room on the booking platform is beautiful, but in reality it is completely different. It would be bearable if real photos and information were included in the offer. Breakfast was very poor. Sausages, fried eggs, scrambled eggs - all cold, icy, despite being placed in warmers, no matter what time you come, burnt and served in a way that does not encourage you to eat, yellow cheese, feta, mozzarella, a few slices, some bacon, some salami, green cucumber, canned pepper. Twice maybe!!!! there was tomato and olives. Let's not forget that we are in the south, where fresh vegetables (even tomatoes) should be at our fingertips. Milk, cereals, bread and disposable spreads, honey, jam, butter. There was fruit (average quality) and yogurts. The canteen is actually just a few four-person tables. When there were more people (e.g. 10): there was chaos and no food, no spoons, no sugar. The canteen and kitchen staff are a big minus. Overall, the breakfast was at the...
Read moreGetting here: Airport shuttle to the bus terminal at the split ferry terminal 30 HKR, took a taxi to the hotel from there 200 HKR, however I've been told that taxi's is the most expensive way to travel in Croatia, pirate taxis will drive you there for half the price. Bus is the cheapest option! Bus to Omis from the hotel costs only 13 HKR and goes twice every hour. Approximately the same if you want to go to Split. The bus stops is very close to the hotel. There is one small beach in the front of the hotel, a bigger one 100 m in the Omis direction, we mainly used the latter, it also has a beach bar serving drinks. For food they only serve hot dogs 15 HKR. There is a restaurant behind the hotel, called Astoria, that is open from 10am, unlike the hotel restaurant that opens 3pm. This restaurant also serve a darker beer (porter-ish) if you're into that! Hotel has WiFi, but with very poor range. We lived on the first floor, furthest from the reception and barely got WiFi in the room (very unstable). In the restaurant and reception area the WiFi is good. The staff is very kind and helpful, one of them even gave us a free ride to Split. They can also help you book a boat trip to Brac which I can recommend, we paid 200 HKR each, It takes around 6 hours and the boat is docked right outside the hotel. I stayed at the hotel for one week with my girlfriend and we will recommend this hotel, it is nicely situated between Omis and Split, in a calm area. Note that there is not much to do around the hotel, but a nice place to relax during the day before you hit either...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Krilo with my husband for our honeymoon, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an incredibly friendly and attentive staff that made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing personalized recommendations and always greeting us with a smile. They even made us breakfast boxes to take away! The rooms at Hotel Krilo were nice and clean, no issues there! Location-wise, Hotel Krilo is perfectly situated. Just a short walk from the beach, I found it easy to spend my days soaking up the sun and enjoying the crystal-clear waters. Overall, my experience at Hotel Krilo was simply amazing. The combination of outstanding service, comfortable and stylish rooms, and an unbeatable location makes it a must-visit when in Croatia. I can't wait to return! Highly...
