HOTEL JOSIPDOL — Hotel in Općina Josipdol

I have not stayed at the hotel but I have tried the restaurant. This may be the worst place me and my family have eaten. My grand mother’s omelet was burnt, my sisters steak was raw (she asked for it to be medium afterwards and they gave her a new one which was more than well-done, it was not good), my boyfriend was pleased with his green pepper steak, but my father who got the same dish, thought the steak’s consistency was weird. My mother thought her food was okay, she got the steak with bacon around it. I got the steak with onions on it, and the steak tasted weird and was very bitter and sour in a strange way as if it was too old. The French fries and mushroom-sauce were edible. Pleasantly priced hotel, in comparison to other places nearby and considering I made last minute reservation. It is very close to Ogulin, and very, very close to highway, so it is good place for rest and sleepover. Unfortunately, city of Josipdol is now empty of people, and highway has taken a lot of passengers from once a major road from continent to seaside. Price included breakfast, and service was more then I expected, among other things, I got a lot of black coffee and fried eggs. 4 of us middle-aged couples had spent a night in a hotel. We did not care for type of accommodation, we want rest, chat, toast and a little differently conducted weekend. We did not mind anything - old and torn furniture in small and cold rooms, miniature, dirty and old bathroom, and generally a bad impression of the whole building. ||This weekend the local company celebrated Christmas and was cheerful, otherwise we were alone in the hotel.||Dinner was good, poor breakfast in a cold dinningroom. ||The low price slightly reduced a bad impression.||The experience which we will talk about...
