Apartments Mata Family — Hotel in Općina Konavle

How’s the serenity. Molunat is superbly located away from the hustle and bustle. One can’t help but feel relaxed visiting this quaint peaceful little cove south of Dubrovnik airport. It has everything you need for a short or extended stay. And Mata family apartments adds gracious hospitality to an overnight or weeklong getaway. Martina was an amazing host. Friendly welcoming and personable she was awaiting our arrival after an easy drive south to Molunat and pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem. The apartments are easy to find with attached parking, well signed and although it is a small community the amenities are more than adequate - a supermarket just downstairs, a cafe / restaurant overlooking the water just across the road, a waterfront bar and a short walk around the cove to another restaurant. (Not to mention a scuba school just yards away as well!) room rates are more than reasonable with a pool, bbq / outdoor kitchen / coffee area, indoor kitchenette and wide open front balcony overlooking the cove. It's now been a week since we returned from a fabulous 11 night stay at Mata family apartments. Myself and my partner wish we were still there. ||Martina and her family were lovely and made us feel so welcome attending to any of our needs and giving recommendations. Martina even made us homemade Courgette fritters and gave us a home made Brady liquor which tasted amazing.||The apartments are very clean model and have the most amazing views over the bay of Molute a small fishing village only 30 minutes drive from dubrovnik Airport and 1 hour by bus from dubrovnik old town. We absolutely LOVED staying here! Martina and her family made us feel at home, even treating us to some of her delicious Zucchini fritters. Our apartment was spacious, clean & modern. My family and myself really appreciated the huge balcony with beautiful views. The pool was inviting and great for the kids… There is a small beach a few feet away which is perfect for a quick dip… or if you fancy a 10 min walk to Molunat Sandy Beach right next to Monika’s restaurant that’s even better… |We really enjoyed our stay and I do hope people come to Molunat and stay at Mata Apartments.
