Olive Garden Apartments — Hotel in Općina Konavle

Me, my partner and our 10 month old son stayed in the Olive Garden apartments for a week. We had a wonderful stay, from playing in the pool, exploring local trails on runs, heading to local beaches and the nearby town of Cavtat for food and dips in the sea. We used it as a base for day trips to Bosnia as well as Montenegro and of course Dubrovnik.

The hosts are amazing, from providing local tips to letting us taste their homegrown produce as well as making us feel so welcome, especially our son who loved the attention.

At night the valley below turns into a nature reserve, with Coyotes howling and Bats and birds flying over head. If you want a quiet and relaxed break and to experience the real Croatia then I highly recommend. You can always dip into the hustle and bustle as you please and return to the tranquility.

We stayed for a week and it was perfect for our family of 3. Great location, close to the airport and we also drove to Montenegro and Bosnia for day trips. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The hostess went above and beyond ensuring we had everything and provided us with great tips to get the most out of the trip. Achtung, die Hausbesitzerin hat die Buchungen nicht mehr im Griff. Im August war das Apartment doppelt belegt. Sie hat meine Familie mit zwei Kindern vor die Tür gesetzt, nach dem wir bereits ausgepackt hatten. Es war nicht einfach so kurzfristig eine Bleibe für vier Personen zu finden. Sehr enttäuschend war die Tatsache, dass Dragica nicht mal nachgehört hat, ob wir für 7 Tage ein Dach über dem Kopf gefunden haben. Das ist unmenschlich! Zur Ausstattung die ich gesehen habe, kann ich nur sagen sehr sehr einfach Überwurf auf dem Sofa in der Küche mehrfach geflickt und voller weißer Flecken (Eis, Sonnencreme). Die Küche sehr klein, der Kühlschrank für 4 Personen nicht ausreichend. Kompliment an den Fotografen, in live wirkt die Außenanlage nicht so schön. weit und breit ist nichts. Keine Supermärkte, Bäckerei etc. Abgesehen vom Desaster mit der Doppelbelegung würde ich die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen, weil man kaum Privatsphäre hat. Das andere Apartment ist direkt neben an (sehr hellhörig) , unten die Vermieter zu dritt. 8 Liegen am Pool dadurch sehr eng, man ist...
