I will try to summarize the overall experience with the apartment. The very first appointment, with a few inquiries regarding parking and the washing machine, was fine. During the trip, we normally contacted the apartment owners to inform them in what time they can expect us, and also we contacted owners several more times during travel given the long wait at the border with BiH (2 hours of waiting to pass the borders). Despite that, in the end, when we arrived, we waited for 40 minutes for someone to give us the keys to the apartment, and for very short info lines about the city. Of course they didn't show us the apartment, or asked if something was missing…Only gave us keys and tell us that apartment is on second floor. The apartment was really clean; the air conditioning is correct and working. There are enough towels. The lists of disadvantages are the following: The apartment is quite far from the center. On the map is 750 m, or 13 minutes on foot, but one very important piece of information is missing, that the height difference is 63 meters, which means a bunch of stairs. That would be the equivalent of climbing to the 18th floor of a building. And now you think about every day few times go to town center? The bed and pillows are terribly soft and uncomfortable. The refrigerator does not have a freezer, which is not told to us anywhere, and also it is not written during booking. It was easy to be happened that we could bring ourselves frozen food that we would eventually be forced to throw away, and we think it would be fair for the owner to leave the information that there is no freezer compartment in the fridge. Kitchen utensils are scarce. Two cups for Nescafe, one bowl for breakfast, a few smaller glass glasses for juice in the apartment which is advertised to have beds for 3 people. There are enough plates and utensils for cooking. There were no kitchen towels at all. The apartment did not inform us in advance that we will have the opportunity to have a direct view of the construction site, or that there is a construction site near their apartment. Unfortunately we listened to the noise of the construction site for 5/9 days. There are mosquitoes in this area. The owners envisioned a mosquito repellent device, but did not check its correctness, ie. we were greeted by a defective device and we bought a new one ourselves after the first night in the apartment. The apartment is advertised as a 3-star apartment, while there are 2 stars on the door. It's not correct. For the first 7 days of our stay in the apartment, no one asked us anything or experienced that we were there. Only the last two days a kindness suddenly appeared which ended with the request to leave all ratings = 10 for the apartment and accommodation. Also owner has asked if it is possible, that we do not write that the apartment is actually quite far from the beach and town center, because that us is not costs us nothing. Positive: The host was very friendly and helpful. He kindly offered assistance with getting to the airport in case my Bolt transfer didn’t show up at 4 a.m., which made me feel safe and supported. Also, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Negative: For first-time visitors to Cavtat, it would be helpful to receive a message via Booking.com before arrival, explaining that the property is located right at the entrance of the town – almost directly across from the bus stop (2 min walk). I followed Google Maps and ended up in a different part of Cavtat, which led to a tiring 20-minute uphill walk in the heat. At check-in, I was asked why I hadn’t messaged the host beforehand – but as a guest, I would have appreciated more proactive thinking and clearer communication in advance. The manager and the cleaner(s) were really wonderful and super accommodating! We stayed there for nearly a week, and if you're looking to stay a little outside of the centre, with an incredible view of Cavtat, then this is the place! ||The apartment was very clean, large wardrobes, a very nice balcony, and in a relatively quiet area (at least in pre-peak season). ||There's a mini-market about 200-300m down the road from the building, and you have access to a shared kitchen (and you have a small fridge in your room) - So, if you don't fancy eating at a restaurant every day/night, then you can always cook :) ||Had such a wonderful time in Cavtat, and a large reason for this was...
