This is a hidden gem. We got tipped by a local to go here, even though it was a 1:30 mins drive. And he was correct, the drive there is an experience in itself, going through multiple small towns and over winding roads to eventually end up on the side of a hill with a view over the entire valley.
You can choose from a couple of dishes (1 or 2 appetizers), mostly pastas and meat, which are served in large bowls.
We had the truffle pasta, sage ravioli and lamb, all of which were phenomenal, but the portion size is a little on the small side (ordered 9 portions for 7 persons).
Besides the amazing food, they also had a range of homemade juices and wines. This is brewed in the shed behind the restaurant where you can also buy them by the bottle.

The chef described all the dishes on offer for that day and was able to offer me a gluten free dish without any fuss. Both our meals were delicious; the pasta was excellent.
