Hotel Amarilis — Hotel in Općina Netretić

I will start by stating the rooms are very nice. Clean and accommodate so for that 5 stars. I'm definitely not a picky eatr and have never asked for a new dish in my life, BUT! The resonant they run there is a minus 10, I had their dinner as they recommended in the reception, and I saw here good reviews. Oh boy, was I wrong I ordered a veal chop and received a dry over cooked lamb chop, which the cooke still claims is cow (I will add a photo, it does look good no doubt but it was so chewy you wouldn't believe me) I requested to know why it was white and so cooked and received another little less dry one which I ate anyway since I was starving, later had to personally find the waiter to pay my bill (3 hours later), in the morning I received a different meal then the rest they all had a plate with ham which I did not receive I assume they felt I would complain I guess they didn't realize there mistake yet, I didn't complain our say anything since I didn't feel like making a...

This hotel is a 3 star. Interestingly the reception is not in the main entrance but on the first floor. It took some finding after we had been show by a barman and instructed to use the service lift to get there? A little strange. The rooms were however good quality. Large, comfortable and spacious bathroom with a balcony overlooking a beautiful fortress on the hill opposite. Free Internet was available. Dinner was v good the steak was fabulous and v cheap too much food really. Breakfast was continental and good quality. Ok needs some pictures and flowers to brighten the place but they are trying and given time will be an excellent place to go. Surrounding area is so beautiful and historical. Well...

I really enjoyed the quiet natural setting of this hotel. Large rooms with balconies that overlook the old castle. We really enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant for 4, with plenty of wine and coffee and total bill was €40 (€10 each)!!! Breakfast was yummy with eggs sausages, pancakes, cold meats and cheeses, croissants fruit and cereal. It's been the perfect stopover between Croatian coast and Lake Bled.
