Villa Marulovo Hills — Hotel in Općina Okrug

My family and I were a party of 6 staying at Marulovo Hills the week beginning of June. We have had the best holiday. Ivan is an exceptional host, professional and extremely helpful. Communication was always quick and he arranged airport transfers with a local reliable taxi driver and also gave us the best boat trip day out with snorkelling, lunch at a fantastic restaurant and a cocktail cruise to end the day. Ivan was extremely helpful on check out too as my daughter had a later flight, nothing was too much trouble and this was really appreciated. The villa is extremely well equipped, with everything and more provided for. We were welcomed with a local meat and cheese platter, milk and bread and local liqueur. The view from the bedroom is stunning and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking to watch the sunset and relax with a glass of something. The games room provided entertainment for the boys and girls of our group as well as the baby tortoises! My husband and I stayed with our 2 adult daughters and their boyfriends, the villa was plenty big enough with outside areas where we all felt relaxed and at ease with space by the pool, or jacuzzi or even reading on the large sunbed canopy on the roof. The beach is a short walk down the hill where we found lots of friendly bars and places to have coffee or lunch, the supermarket Tommys is also a close distance from the Villa and catered for everything we needed. The water taxi/ferry was a 5-10 min walk. We caught the boat over to Trojir several times and one day took the ferry from Trojir to Split. There was no need to hire a car as everything very close by, Okrug is a beautiful area with Trojir so close for restaurants and exploring the history of the area. Spent five nights here with a group of friends and loved our time at the villa. It is so comfortable, well equipped, and was immaculately clean upon our arrival, with so many provisions already there as well as a welcome drinks and a charcuterie platter. Ivan was in touch before our arrival and is a very kind and welcoming host - really considerate and helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. We spent a day on his boat too and had a brilliant time. We spent hours at the house but it's only a short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants, very well located. Przepiękny dom i niesamowici gospodarze. Byliśmy pod wielkim wrażeniem życzliwości i troskliwości Ivana, z uśmiechem i radością doradzał, pytał, martwił się – widać, że lubi i cieszy się tym co daje innym – dzięki temu czuliśmy się zaopiekowani i dobra energia domu wpłynęła na nas bardzo pozytywnie. Po ciepłym powitaniu z niespodziankami zaprezentowano nam nowoczesny, bardzo czysty i zadbany dom. Widać, że gospodarze wkładają dużo wysiłku w to miejsce, aby było nieskazitelne. Willa była doskonale wyposażona we wszystko co potrzebne, wszystkie zapasy uzupełnione w nadmiernej ilości. Bardzo wygodnie i komfortowo, wszystko dobrze przemyślane. Duży stół przy basenie na tarasie z grillem do wspólnego biesiadowania - tam spędzaliśmy cudowne wieczory. Nie było żadnych życzeń bez odpowiedzi, świetnie się bawiliśmy.
