I will describe my stay at the camp as a good marriage. A good marriage might not be perfect, but it's great and memorable. As in a marriage sometimes there is a (small) issue but when both sides look for a solution, have some patience, and are polite and respectful, everything is fine. The view from the camp is great, the pitches we had provided shade and where large enough. The sanitary facilities are kept super-clean. During our stay the stalls did once run out of toilet paper for a few hours. (Campers who don't have their own toilet paper on them don't exist I think, so not really a big problem, and it was solved a few hours later, and it didn't happen ever again) Many campers use loads of hot water to shower, so you might want to take your shower early ... The restaurant can be very very crowded, staff does an absolute amazing job but you might have to wait a little before you can be seated, even if you took reservation. When you take the late shift and eat around 9 pm some items of the menu might not be available. To me it only proves the food is fresh and restocked daily. The food is excellent, so is the service, staff is friendly and fast. We had 2 thunderstorms during our stay, yet the pitches stay dry and clean, no flooding or huge puddles as we have had on other (more expensive) locations. I can only recommend this campsite, I mentioned the (small) issues just to be clear, they all can be linked to the success and consequently the large number of visitors of the camp and restaurant. I can only conclude the review with my sincere thanks and regard to all of the staff and owners of the camp for the wonderful time we...
Read moreWe have reviewed the touring aspect of this lovely site separately.||Here I want to individually endorse the on site restaurant and bar. It was our last evening at the site and we decided to eat here. I don't think we were expecting great things from a little campsite restaurant almost in the middle of nowhere. Wow.||The waiter, Millan, who served us is a young chap but prefessionally trained in catering college. As a waiter he was first class. Professional, polite and clearly experienced despite his young appearance. He later told us that he is also the lunchtime chef as well as waiter as he us the only one there.||We ordered the cooked fish platter which consisted of whole Dorado, Seam Bream, Mackerel, Sea Bass, mussels, whole small squid and crayfish.||It was outstanding. The sort of quality one would expect from a top town restaurant. All cooked over coals, perfectly. Even their rather simple house wine served in a carafe was very drinkable and went nicely with the fish.||It was a platter for two but would easily feed four if starters had been taken.||We couldn't believe our luck at how good this little place is.||It is open for anyone, not just residents of this site. It's out of the way but if you are staying on this site or within a reasonable distance then it is well...
Read moreSpotlessly clean, well cared for new campsite operated by a warming and welcoming family, this was one of the best campsites we have ever stayed in. We went for the newly finished cabin with a pool to find alternating pool lights for the night! The cabin had a fridge freezer and dishwasher, plus air con. The staff were attentive, and offered to clean and change bedding half way through the stay. The campsite facilities were also cleaned regularly, new and looked after. ||||The family also run the campsite restaurant which offers incredibly high quality food. It is home made, delicious, good value and freshly served. We found the wife of the owner looking for herbs one day. They also served up their own limoncello at the end of a feast. Seating for the restaurant went down to the water side on the jetty. ||||The area is how you make it with a busy town to see or sleepy coast the other way. It was a treat to stay, we relaxed and enjoyed the kayaks, the paddle boards and the waterferry to Korcula.||Overall great value, and...
