Lukenda Rooms – Pakoštane — Hotel in Općina Pakoštane

I spent a week with my partner in Pakoštane in September 2022, staying in one of the rooms in the lovely Lukenda Rooms. Our room was a perfect size with a comfortable bed and a convenient private bathroom. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and great for preparing breakfast and light meals. Whenever we needed anything, the hosts were happy to help.

Regarding what Lukenda Rooms and Pakoštane offered us for a week, we feel the price per night is very affordable.

The house is 5 minutes from the beach, slightly uphill, and the balcony offers a nice sea view. There are grocery shops and bakeries nearby, as well as family-owned house-front stands selling local produce, such as olive oil, herbs, fruit, and cheese. The bars and restaurants by the beach and the inside quarters of the town get lively in the evenings. In September, the overall atmosphere in Pakoštane was calm and relaxed, and the weather was perfect for swimming and snorkelling – there are a few beach options.

In case you'd like to get a glance at the beautiful Dalmatian archipelago, there is a boat connection from Pakoštane to the close by Vrgada island, where you can easily spend a day walking around in the small village and nature, as well...

I really recommend this place! I went for several summers and last year even for Easter time. The home is big and rooms are bright and spacious. Everything is kept super clean, and every room has access to the big balconies with the best sight on the piece of sea and its wonderful archipelago. Having a bbq at sunset in such balconies is a blast! A great place where to enjoy with family, kids, or a group of friends. Sanja and her sister Ana are the best hosts and will do everything to better accommodate their guests. Holidays in such great place with such hosts are unforgettable... Surroundings offer a lot of choices, from bike tours of the lake, with its birds sighting, to old castles and medieval ruins, and of course a great sea life with the opportunity to visit the famous Vrgada island (15 minutes only by ferry from Pakostane main pier) and other untouched islands with wild flora and fauna. Lukenda rooms is a wonderful, super friendly place. The interior design is well proportioned, elegant, warm and welcoming. Host Sanja made us feel like home, just with the difference of having the beautiful Adriatic Sea just a 5 min walk away, with Pakostane beach, great restaurants, supermarkets and a few tourist info points.. For us, it was super convenient not having to rent an entire apartment, but to stay in one of the cozy Lukenda rooms with a huge terrace with an amazing view just next to it. It was nice to meet some of the other friendly guests there sometimes, and to exchange on the best experiences of the day in and on the water... For touristic tips Sanja was also the best person to ask. We absolutely enjoyed our days in Lukenda rooms and have already made plans to come back. We warmly recommend it to anyone who is looking to spend relaxing days at the beach and appreciates a cozy and beautiful place to stay...
