Villa Mediterranea — Hotel in Općina Pakoštane

You're arriving on a warm summer day at the guest house which is located near to the centre and the beach of a picturesque village. The hosts welcome you with a homemade refreshing iced tea.|Then they are showing you the apartment you've booked and you immediately see with how much attention for the detail the owners built, arranged and decorated this place!|There is a cozy, comfortable queensize bed, an a/c that keeps you chilled on warm nights. Also a wardrobe, a fridge, a kettle, some tea bags, cups, wine glasses, a little library and a flatscreen TV. |And the gorgeous bathroom is an another example for a tastefully design and the good manual skills of the hosts!|You're also able to use the spacious terrace which is right in front of your room! And what a fantastic view it is from there!!||Later: You're sipping on a cocktail, listening to chilling beats and chatting with your hosts. They also run a cool outdoor bar/restaurant right here at the guest house! This place is awesome, a cushy middle-east-boho-style-mixture with handcrafted furniture! And the drinks are heavenly good too! |Oh and there are some cats! And one of them, the sweet white tomcat with different eye colors wants to take a quick nap on your lap! How cool it that?!||The next morning: |You are choosing your breakfast from the menu which has pics of every offer and oh my, they are all looking delish! Thank god you're here a couple more days so you maybe can taste all of it😉|Because of the marvelous view, you decide to eat on the terrace. The breakfast itself is another surprise: big portion, prepared with love and made with fresh local ingredients/products and it tastes very delicious, sooo yummy!||The whole time of your stay you feel very welcome, your hosts are helpful with everything, giving you real good advices on where to eat, what are must-sees in the area, which are the best beaches, etc. They are even ask you to join them for dinner.||So.. These are some of my impressions and experiences that i made at my stay at this wonderful guest house. It's a family business and my daughter and me met all family members during our stay. I never met such warm-hearted, lovely, positive and amiable hosts!|We had such a great time there and i would like to thank all of them for everything. Our first trip to Croatia brought us to this fantastic location. The rooms are beautifully done with handcrafted furniture and have everything in it we needed and more. There are only two appartments and they looked exactly like the pictures. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was brand new and lovely, everything worked perfectly and was cleaned every day. The room had a fridge, a kettle, cups, teabags, sugar, TV and WiFi worked perfect all the time. ||When you step out the room, you´re on a sunshaded balcony with big comfy seats and a table to have breakfast outside with a great sea view. The house is a 3 minute walk from the beach and in the heart of the lovely small town Pakostane. ||Our hosts were very welcoming and always accommodating, trying to see to our every need, whether we asked for travel advice or offering a drink when we came back from a day out exploring. The young couple that run the place speak perfect English and are lovely people. We met the whole family while we were there and had great time chatting with all of them. Have created a trip advisor profile specifically to leave this review. ||My partner and I originally booked Guest House Mediterranea as it was cheap and basically a bed for the night - how wrong we were.... ||There are so many good things I'm struggling with where to start with this review so here's some bullet points - ||- The rooms are all designed from scratch and wouldn't look out of place in boutique hotel. ||- The attention to detail in everything they do from the finish in the room to the toiletries in bathroom cannot be faulted in any way. ||- communication prior to arrival to see if there was anything we needed for arrival was nice touch. ||- Breakfast on the terrace was fantastic. the pancakes and presentation was 1st class and exceeded expectations 100%||- I could keep going with good things to say about this guest house. Ive attached some pictures. ||Our only disappointment is that we never took up the offer of a home cooked meal on our arrival as it smelt amazing and we only booked for 1 night.
