I can't believe what a great value this place was for the price. It was actually nicer than I expected from the photos. Basic room, but spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Location was perfect -- less than 15 min drive from the entrance to Plitvice Lakes. We only had a short stay because we arrived late at night, then checked out early to beat the crowds at Plitvice. Mara is a sweet old lady who only speaks a little English, but is still great at communicating. She was so nice in accommodating our late arrival (a few min later than 11pm, which is the end of their stated check-in time). She seems to live on the premises. I felt bad to wake her up for our late arrival, but she was friendly and accommodating.||||Only negative is we had to go up a few flights of stairs to our room. There is no elevator. I chose this place merely because it had the same name as me and I had no ecxpectation. When I arrived there I was welcomed by the host, she helped me to plan my trip to Plitvice National Park, told me which path is the best. We end up talking about life for one hour! The next morning she offered me breakfast and coffee for free. She was very kind, hospitable and helpful!
