House Katica Bicanic — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

My persnal experience with this guest house wasnt happy. Communication was not easy at all. So we ended up waiting for their pick up an hour at night the place where we never been before. The cleaness in the guest house was very poor. I saw dried pasta left over in between fork in side kictchenett drawer. That was disgusting. The room we assigned also feel uncomfortable. I picked up strangers hairs. The restroom was super tiny and facility is outdated. We were misunderstood that this room has own kichten, but it wasnt. A lot of disappointment from this place. How come is this place is excellent location? Need to walk for 90 minutes from guest hous to get to closet entrance. Hope people well aware of this things before...

I was travelling alone in Croatia, and with language barrier and new location often made me stressed and anxious. However, from the very moment I walked into this guest house, the whole family made me feel like I belong there. They helped me with travel guides, tips of getting into the national park and all the required information. They were genuinely ensuring that I had a great time and had a great stay, which I really did. 10 minutes from the Plitvicé park entrance #1, which made it super easy to beat the tour busses in the morning!
