Plitvice Village — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

Recently opened (2022) family run resort in the beautiful hills around the Plitvice National Park. Fantastic destination for families with mini golf, tennis courts, a football pitch, swimming pool, playground, bicycles, hiking trails, terraces with plenty of shade, quiet seating areas and beautiful gardens throughout the property. Plenty of free parking at the property. Delicious a la carte dinner and great included breakfast. Accommodations include single family rooms, a family apartment, or a small family bungalow.Rooms are modern, clean, and decorated to a very high standard, although not very soundproof. Airconditioning is turned off every night at 10pm as the mountain air is cool at night, but you can ask to have it kept on. Resort is 24km from Entrance 2 into the National Park but at €40pp entrance fee, we stayed at the resort and enjoyed some free hiking and cycling. Staff are friendly and helpful, Sandra at Reception is very helpful and her English is excellent. Great destination for a family vacation, something for everyone to enjoy!

What a fantastic place. If heaven is on earth, than that should be the place. You have a very nice room kept on an ideal temperature with a noiseless aircon system. The room is beautiful and the bathroom excellent. You have access to a perfect working WIFI network. As soon as you leave the room you can enjoy a wonderful swimming pool (which is by the way very well maintained, congratulations). In the morning you can - and you should do it - take a great breakfast with a broad choice to a lot of delicious things! The fruit and especially the melon is great. During the day you have the possibility to drink a great cocktail, gin fizz or another one or keep it simple and take the Gin Tonic! Had the worst experience at this hotel. We had 3 rooms. Our AC would not go lower than 23.6.i couldn’t reach the front desk at night so I wrote an email. In the morning when I told the owner, she said I was lying and it works fine. We were hot in 2 rooms and the temperature would not go down She was very rude and insulting. At night when I asked the guy at the front desk who was nice, about the checkout he said it’s at 10 but we could leave at 11 no problem. At 10:40 the owner came to me at the pool saying we are late to check out. I told her they told us 11 and once again she said we were lying .we immediately took out everything and left.
