Restaurant Fortuna — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

On arriving at the Guesthouse Fortuna we were informed our rooms had been booked 6 times over. Arriving at 9pm with young children we had no alternative but to accept alternative accommodation in a nearby house. There was no apology, but we were told the accommodation would around half price. The discount was fair given the standard of accommodation offered and not a hotel, other people clothes in the wardrobes etc. When we came to pay they told us the discount would be 10% I complained, was surrounded by staff who insisted I paid...

Restaurant Unfortuna. Good food, terrible service, beef kebab was small in portion. Waiter was overwhelmed and didn't come to take our order until we called. After bringing our soup, we waited half an hour for our food. İn the mean time he didn't even come to pick up the empty dishes. Once we called, and asked about the main dish it turned out he didn't even order it in the first place. İt was a total mess. We had to order food again, in the end we wasted more than an hour and half sitting and waiting, instead of walking...

When we are heading to Plitvicka, we just stop by here for lunch. The service is good: fast, friendly, polite with lots of attention to us. My husband chooses Zagreb schnitzel, it’s kinda cordon Bleu and I choose beef medallion. Both meals are excellent.

The position of this restaurant is just on the main road to the National Park Plitvicka. There are many space for parking.

The restaurant is very very clean. We are happy to have lunch here.
