Casa da Emanuela — Hotel in Općina Rakovica

We decided to visit the Plitvicki Lakes as solo-travellers, without taking an excursion. I had a little time to choose the hotel; the site we booked on there was writren that it's only 5-minutes ride from the lakes, so I booked it. Yes, it's really not far away, but if you have a car, because there is no bus to go there! But the owner of the house was a nice woman and she took us everywhere we need for a little price! The bed was veery big and comfortable. We also ordered a breakfast and enjoyed it very much: because she makes a table with a breakdast just for two - looks luxuriously and nutritiously.||||- If your aim is to go to the National Park Plitvica and you don't have your own car - it's better find...

I stayed one night there with my girlfriend in June 2013. For what we paid, 28€ we spent one night in a decent structure, 12 minutes by car away from Plitvice Lakes, entrance 1. The room was clean in a quiet place. there is parking inside the yard and the lady is very kind. Only one suggestion, don't have dinner at Restaurant Sedra, 4 minutes from the house, typical touristic restaurant with no personality and...

This place is run by a very passionate family that also knows a great deal about cooking. We spend an entire evening munching through their delicious meals, we were in heaven! 10/10

We had trouble finding the place through Airbnb and that caused some trouble but that was probably also related to our delayed airplane :)
