The quality and price ratio is perfect. Very neat and clean rooms. Very humble and friendly helpfull staff. Close by Plitvica lakes, Slunj, Rastoke and the Barac Caves. Which all are must visit places. Located in a beautiful area. Breakfast included. Which is very basic but good. Enough parking place. If you are visiting the Plitvica lakes this is definately a good place to stay without paying to much. Just 6 km from the national park. And just as good as the other accomodations closer by the park, but therefor also very overpriced. Hotel and restaurant Sedra is perfect place to stay.

A perfect place to escape the hustle bustle of the city and enjoy in the lap of lush greenery. The resort had an amazing pool post which you can relax under the zillions of stars. The restaurant was the best with great hospitality and superb food! We extended our stay to enjoy that breakfast one more day! Don’t forget the cakes! They are delicious

We came here to be close to the Plitvice national park and also because it had a swimming pool and was adults only. We stayed 2 days and it was a perfect stop off. All the staff were friendly. The breakfast staff always had a lovely smile as did the receptionists. Thank you to you all for making our stay so enjoyable

We, of course, were here for the lakes and I believe I booked this place because it was close to the lakes and had decent reviews. It was adequate. We were in room 5 and the photos I’ve attached probably make it look grander than it was. It was large (we had a Superior room and it would be classified as a large suite elsewhere in Europe) but the furnishings were a bit on the shoddy side. For example, there were six closet doors but only three had handles and were able to be opened. There are only two total pillows on the king-sized bed. There is a mini fridge. There’s a small TV but the only English station I found was a religious one. Even though there’s a keypad, the room safe requires a key. The receptionist didn’t volunteer this information when we checked in and I had to go back to the front desk to report the safe being locked when we arrived at our room. It was then I was told about the key and given one. For me at least there was a learning curve in using the key so much so that I went back to the desk to ask if I had the right one. The use is not intuitive, and I wish I could describe it here but I can’t. The drapes were thin and really didn’t keep out much light. The booking site we used described the floors as wood parquet which wasn’t true. It also talked about the amenities. The bathroom is on the small side but adequate. There were no amenities with the exception of a black trash bag for laundry. The towels are a bit thin and line dried, so scratchy. There’s a one size fits all (shampoo/shower gel) soap dispenser in the shower, a small bar of soap by the sink and toilet paper – that’s it. It reminded me of some of the rustic in-park lodging at U.S. national parks. There was no 110V outlet for shavers. There was very little room around the sink for toiletries but two shelves underneath and two shelves along the wall. We had a balcony that was the depth of one chair's width (see photo). Breakfast was table service by the same excellent waitress we had the night before. It was very good. There is a covered swimming pool that looked very nice. To be clear, my rating is based on value for the price. Given the remote part of the country, 178 Euros for two nights in a large room is good value. We drove here from Rovinj using Google and the last hour was on a very narrow and twisty road (would not be out of place in Ireland). The only good thing about it was almost not traffic, though there was one multi-car wreck. A paper map might have helped. Photos are attached.||||Thanks for reading. I’ll appreciate a thumbs up below if you’ve found this helpful.||||Also, you may now follow me on TripAdvisor. If you’re in the app, click on my name. A box opens with “Follow” just under my screen name. To follow me outside the app your cursor has to be over my profile photo, then a box appears with a summary of my reviews – click on my screen name in blue at the top and another page opens with the “Follow me” box near the top right. To help you decide if following me is worth the trouble, here’s what I have planned for 2019: finishing my reviews of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro; continue reviewing restaurants in the KC metro; reviewing the Northern Lights cruise to Norway in January; starting my reviews of our stay Tuscany for a week, followed by several days in each of Bellagio and Milan in May; traveling to Australia in September, with a trip extension to Bali, Borneo, Brunei and Singapore; and going to Maui for a week in...

This hotel was the worst experience of my life. I'm not going to bore you with the details of how dark and dingy the room was. I was stuck with no other options at that time. I arrived around 3:00 PM. Hung out...the pool was too cold to swim in but it was clean. In the evening, I was trying to settle in but there was something in my room and I couldn't sleep in it. I had a 7:00 am ticket entrance to Plitvice Lakes. I went downstairs, but there wasn't anyone at the front desk. I decided to leave the room and sleep in my car. I got a blanket and proceeded to go out to my car but guess what I was locked in with all the other guests.  It was 11:00 pm and there was a man in a truck with the lights on getting ready to leave for the evening. He saw me trying to leave the premises but knew I was locked in. He came in, asked me what I was doing and I told him there was something in my room (mouse) I believe and I wanted to sleep in the car. I don't know if he didn't understand me. So I repeated myself and he was saying something in Croatian which I didn't understand, and at the end of this 1 minute discussion he told me to leave. He followed me up to the room and waited for me to pack up. He walked me out of the motel like I was some kind of criminal. I told him he should be ashamed of himself, sending a 62 year old woman out at 11:00 PM. On top of that, they did not refund my money for a 2  night reservation. If you want to spend the night in a death trap, this is the place for you. I can't even believe this is legal. Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM which is fine, but does that mean nobody gets to come and go between those hours that have...

The whole reason to be in the Plitvice Lakes area is to go to the park. This hotel is only a ten minute drive to parking lot/entrance #1. Very easy drive, you cannot get lost.||Our room was the biggest room we had anywhere on our six week holiday. It was spacious, it was clean, it was comfortable with lots of storage and a large bathroom. The room was air conditioned but the air conditioning had to work hard to keep the room cool. Not cold, just cool.||There is an outdoor pool on the property and it is excellent to rejuvenate yourself after a hot day hiking the park. What they don't advertise is the five euro "tax" to use the pool. It is five euros per room, not per person and it is for the duration of your stay, not per day so it is well worth it.||Breakfast is included and each day (three mornings for us) we were very pleased with the breakfast and the service. Most staff speak English so that was also a plus for us. Parking is included and is on site.||The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I asked a million questions and they had accurate answers to all of them.||If we return to the area we would definitely try to stay here again. If you make a reservation here you can sleep easy knowing it is a quality property with great amenities, a reasonable price and helpful friendly...
