Maiora Luxury Island Suites — Hotel in Općina Sali

We stayed in at Maiora, Sali, for 8 nights in july 2022. The place is a sanctuary in itself - beautiful and functional design and a spectacular view of the marina, sea and islands. We visited in a warm period with 30+ and the aircondition worked smoothly. Efficient and good layout of all of the appartments. The place consist of 4 appartments sharing access to the pool area and the beautiful, cool and fresh infinity pool. All guests are hardly there at the same time, and we never had any issues in feeling privacy and enough 'space' for our family of four - alway peaceful and private. There is also a well-equpped and -functioning training room that we used a lot. Maiora is placed in the end of the marina in Sali, and you can jump in the sea from the part of the harbour that is just outside the marina, and right in front of the appartments - recommended for a morning swim before the rest of the family is awake :-) From the appartment you can walk straigth down to the restaurants surrounding the marina. We had dinner out every night, and has not visited the same restaurant twice! There is also a nice cocktail bar called Maritimo. NB, the appartments are well-built and well-isolated from any noise there might be from in- or outside :-) Also supermarket and pharmacy is around the harbour... It is a small and picturesque small city to enjoy. Friendly people and a good vibe. Remember to slow down you walking speed to match the citylife - perfect for setteling into relaxation. Sali is very close to the Telascica Natural Park which we visited for snorkelling - recommended! In general the snorkelling at Dugi Otok is the best I have experienced in the mediterreanean! We brought our electrical car, Tesla, with the Ferry from Zadar to Brbinj at Dugi Otok and it went smoothly. Recommend to book tickets on-line prior to departure. Our host, David, was very accomodating and helpful - caring and friendly. This is really a peaceful, special place on earth - and perfect for vacation get-away, hide-away - or whatever 'away' you...

The suite was beautifully designed, very modern, and spotlessly clean, with every detail thought of for comfort and relaxation. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure everything about my stay went smoothly.
