We had booked here as wanted to be accessible to Split as well as other areas we wanted to visit. The hotel was pretty well located on the main road to Trogir (not too busy) which was about a twenty minute walk and just set back from the beach front.||The hotel has a nice pool and was clean and tidy for the most part although some areas could do with an upkeep (mainly the poolside seating area).||||We had booked through booking.com which had recommended an apartment for 2 adults and one child and a twin room for our older son so this is what we booked. ||||First negative: The female receptionist with dark bobbed hair should NOT be in customer service!||When we arrived she immediately asked if we spoke German (which I do a little however not enough to converse at length) to which she was extremely put out out by and then proceeded to tell us that the apartment we have will be enough for all of us. Not having seen the rooms we asked for the keys to both rooms booked (which we had secured by card) which she begrudgingly gave us after some huffing and puffing.||Upon seeing the rooms we agreed that the apartment would be ok after all as it was plenty big enough despite booking.com's advice to the contrary.||We then returned to reception to ask if we could just take the apartment to which she replied 'No, its finished, you have to take it' ||When we asked if they could not just take the key and try to resell it she refused point blank (having argued we didn't need it on arrival!). We gave up and left it at that. ||||The apartment did not have an iron. I am one that does not like to look as if i have rolled out of bed in the clothes I'm wearing so thought I would see if i could borrow one from reception. Mistake! ||Job's worth female Hitler (as we later named her) immediately shrugged her shoulders stating 'Deutsch?" so i indicated through mime what I needed to which she said 'No not possible!'||||Not a good start to our stay. ||||So later that day I rang booking.com and explained the situation regarding the rooms and they were great. They called the hotel and arranged for the hotel to refund us the second room. The female Hitler had knocked off for the day in her place was the BEST member of staff in the hotel - TONY!||He arranged for our refund on the second room within minutes, added breakfast to our stay (which had been missed by booking.com) and finally, found me an iron!! He was polite, spoke excellent English, and above all else, seemed as if he actually wanted to be helpful. He absolutely deserves to be commended as the hotel's saving grace.||||So once this was sorted we were very happy.||Pros & Cons of the hotel:||||Pro's:||* Good Location - great views (we were room 105), close to beach & facilities.||* Quiet (rooms were well sound proofed (- only minor noise occasionally) ||* Air conditioned & Mozzie plug provided.||* Nice pool||* Rooms cleaned daily (bathroom floor could have been cleaned a little better)||* Apartment fairly good size (big enough for 4 adults)||||Cons:||* Female Hitler - needs a personality transplant as well as customer service training!!||* Breakfast was poor. Continental breakfast and never varied. The coffee tasted like it had been stewed for days (even the fresh pots) so we eventually asked for cappuccino which we got. Note - Female Hitler added the ones she served to our bill - REALLY??!! Thankfully Tony removed them again!||* Apartment only has one wardrobe which is not enough. Even hooks on the back of the doors would have helped.||* No iron!||* Main bathroom shower door leaked so the floor was constantly soaked and our son slipped and hit himself on one occasion. Needs attention.||||Overall we were pleased with the hotel despite the awful female staff member. It was a good base and a pleasant stay but it could have been very different tif it had not been for Tony. I would like the management of the hotel to acknowledge his excellent...

The hotel is situated just 3 mins by foot from the beach, next to this hotel in camping there is a small supermarket where you can get drinks and ice cream. Water taxi to Trogir is only 5-7 mins by foot at the beach. I would also like to mention the hotel stuff, they are all incredible, always ready to help and do everything to make your stay comfortable. Especially thanks to Ivana and Luka! All hotel is cleaned and well maintained, breakfast was also good. We were very happy to spend our holidays there and looking forward to go back again. |With warm wishes to all stuff...
