Villa Vera — Hotel in Općina Selca

We had a fantastic stay at Vila Vera in the superior apartment with a sea view — truly a gem in Sumartin!

The location is unbeatable: right on the first line to the sea, with stunning views and direct access to the water. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and fully equipped with everything you might need — including a dishwasher, washing machine, fully stocked kitchen, and AC.

The pool is just steps away (literally about 15), always clean and well-maintained, with sunbeds and umbrellas available at all times. There’s also a great communal area where you can relax, barbecue, enjoy a hammock, or just unwind. Private parking on the property is a big plus.

Sumartin is the quieter side of Brač, perfect if you’re looking to avoid crowds. Supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants — everything is within walking distance. You can either explore the local public beaches or simply go down from the villa and swim right in front, where there’s a designated and safe sea entrance.

I can only recommend :) Apart of the obvious assets like the apartment being clean, sea close, and the swimming pool, the main pro were the owners. Both of them were super friendly, accommodating, and helpful and the type of people you would like to meet again. They also plan on further renovations this winter, so whatever you see on photos from this year might not be up to date anymore :) The town is very quiet, in the second half of September some of the restaurants were closed already - but not all and there is also a store with basic commodities. The beaches were nice and there were also quite a few places with ladders to water, so you can start swimming practically everywhere. I just wouldn't go here on workation maybe, if you require fast Internet, as this in general seems to be a bit of a...

I recently stayed at this Vila and had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful pool and garden — perfect for relaxing. The Vila also offeres a stunning view of the sea, which was just a short walk away.
