Winery Rizman B&B — Hotel in Općina Slivno

On the weay to Peljesac we stopped at Rizman stop shop because we were curious about this wonderful Pošip. However widley advertizmed Pošip turned out to be a just regular table white wine. Beside we was offered one Posip only - Brime. They stated the other are not available at all for sale. Basing on this experience I can say the wine is very poor in minerals ( I am more than sure it is result of mechanical preparation of the soil for wineyards not natural soil) and wine is very tiring in consumption. The Brime Posip is not even half as good as many Rukatac from Peljesac and it wasn't even near to Posip from Korcula. Why not to drive 30 km more and grab a delicious Rukatac from Pelejsac or even more and do one day trip to Korcula island to...

The winery is an excellent place to taste some great wines while looking over the gorgeous bridge and the bay. There are also some food platters to go with the wines (bruschettas and cheese & prosciutto), in case you're a bit hungry. You can also buy bottles of their wine, ranging from recent years (12-25 EUR) to older ones from the reserve (60-100 EUR). They also have delicious olive oil you can try and buy.

Even though it's a 3-4 kilometers detour from the main road, it's definitely worth it, as the narrow road winds through olive groves and vineyards as it climbs to the winery. There are a few sections of the road which are in a poorer state, but even a small sedan shouldn't have problems...

We had sent emails, called several times and even sent an app message to this winery, but no response. We wanted to inform them that we wanted to drink wine at their terrace, and that our friend was going to ask his girlfriend to marry him. When we got there, the lady there told us that we were not allowed to film the proposal.. She needed approval from her manager, but she couldn't reach him.
