Seline AUTOCAMP Pisak — Hotel in Općina Starigrad

On 29.09.2019 when I was driving, alone, my car in Seline I was stopped, in front of campsite Pisak by a fellow who I have never seen before. This man was speaking to me in Croatian (I understand a bit Croatian because I speech Czech as well). He told me that it supposes I have done something wrong because it supposes I may have sleeping inside my car 2 nights at the road which is surrounding the beach heading south east of the Pisak campsite.|| ||The circumstances indicated by this fellow were absolutely incorrect, anyway I ask in Czech who he was for stopping a car and tell me something like that. This man did not answer to my question and started threatening me. Because I’m not the kind of person who allows intimidation by unknown person, I asked him to identify himself. He says he was the mayor of the city, I say "very well, please your name and family name". In this moment (I got out of the car), he tried again to treat me. I tried to take a picture of this unknown man who started to push me. In this moment I realized that most likely he was a working person of campsite Pisak, because another man was awaiting at the gate of the campsite. I was smart enough to recognize the danger: this fellow was trying to provoke me into a fight in which I would have found myself in certain numerical inferiority, and with my car as target as well. I warned aloud in German about tourists who were about 30 meters from us. The consequence of that was that both persons went quickly inside in the reception of the camping. I recognize that the other fellow was the young man in reception (I was asking him 5 day before, then I preferred to move to campsite Bakija in Biograd). Rudest Croatian lady at the reception:||||My girlfriend and I were relieved to have found such a nice camping site at the beach after a long day trip with our car along the coast. It was already afternoon when we arrived at this camp site. Wanting to set up our tent in this camp site we went to the reception office, where a young lad and an elderly woman were attending 2 camp site inhabitants. My girlfriend and I were waiting within the office, because it was air conditioned and shady. All of a sudden the elderly woman, having heard that we were speaking swiss german, told us in german to go "wait outside". Without hesitation we went outside and waited in the 33 degrees of burning sun for about 15 minutes until we were "not attended to". Meanwhile we were waiting, 2 other inhabitants of the camp site went inside the office and of course, they were attended to right away by the younger lad, who left the office with them, showing them something within the camp site. The elderly woman had a nice chat with the two other gentlemen as she left the office with them and then locked the door behind her as they went outside. She then briefly turned towards us, looked at us and then walked away ignoring us. She got on a bicycle and then left us standing in front of the rejection office and did not come back. We had no idea what we had done to deserve that sort of treatment. We tried to be friendly and complied with all the wishes. Not to mention, we felt like we were absolutely worthless, Any form of interaction would have been less rude, but we were not worth a word past: "Go outside and wait".||||After that we got back in our car and sought out a friendlier place (which there are many more of along the coast we noticed). We easily forgive mistakes and are quite easy to please as guests, but this was just one of the rudest interactions we have ever had on any vacation, even outside of Croatia. We could...

We were very pleased to spend our vacation camping here. Camping is very well organised. Everything is under owners care. Very clean, whole sanitary appliances are cleaned in deep couple times a day by the camping service. Pitches have marked boundaries (by trees ) so you have your own area, flat surface for tents, that is important for comfort. You Can reserve place under trees or in the sun as preferable. Very wide stone beach with nearly no urchins, found only on deeper water so not disturbing. Beach shower opened for use Everything is well organised and under owner supervision, great place to rest. Little town Seline is close with all necessary shops and trade points, pharmacy, local market restaurants etc. in walking distance. Don't need to move anywhere except of sight seeing. We were here with little baby and place was very nice and safe to spend time here. We will certainly come back here. Only disadvantage found, not dependent to the camping itself is that water gets murky most of the time. This is dependent on wind direction as the beach is in a little bay. We had only one wind direction, western most of the time, for nearly all two weeks. During other winds water gets clear as usually in Croatian coast. It is only a luck but still camping has well deserved highest point rating. Local temporary river that divides the camping is dry during summer but water from the sea creates warm water pool at river end, great for babies to stay...
