On arriving, the welcome was warm but difficult due to the language barrier. my wife and i speak both english and french, unfortunatly the staff have very little english and no french. The bedroom was VERY basic, old and need of a little TLC, however it was clean and was cleaned regularly. We had opted for Half - Board, and the first evening meal was excellant. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, however, as the week went by we started noticing that the evening meal was lacking - We were always served with a soup to start, followed by a salad and then we had the choice of meat or fish for the main course, at the start of the week, we were asked in the morning what we wanted, but as the week went on that stopped. On one night my wife had a plate of Mussels and i had a plate of 'Meat' no vegetables or anything. When we asked the waiter said 'this is how we eat it here'||I think Guesthouse Danilo is used to a German clientele, and are not streching out far enough to accept other tourists. ||Also in this day and age the rooms should be better equipped...
