Konoba "Poli Ondine" - OPG Ondina — Hotel in Općina Svetvinčenat

One of the biggest disappointments we had in Istria by far. This restaurant has been on our map since the first time we discovered it in 2019. and at that time they prepared one of the best "šug od boškarina" (beef stew -traditional Istrian dish). Hospitality back then was friendly and simple, something you hope to find in small, family run restaurants. Today, when we ordered same meal we are having here for years, we couldn't believe what came to our table. Bread was dry as it was 2 days old, 3 servings of the stew were all put in one plate (which is normal when more people eat the same thing) but the quantity was barely, enough for 2. Since we visited earlier we didn't expect this at all. At the end when we told to the waitress about our experience, she just said that she will pass it to the boss and brought the check - without any single word of apology. Liegt sehr versteckt in einer Seitengasse, nicht so einfach zu finden. Gegenüber gibt es aber einen Schotter-Parkplatz, auf dem genügend Autos Platz finden. Es gibt zwar eine Speisekarte, die ist aber nur ein erster Anhaltspunkt. Es gibt nur eine Auswahl an täglichen Speisen von der Karte. Wir haben uns für einen gemischten Salat vorab und als Hauptgang für Gnocci mit Wild-Gulasch entschieden. Für die Kinder gab es noch Pommes. Wir hatten je einen Liter Cola, Fanta und 2 mal Wasser, 5 Portionen Gulasch und Gnocci, einmal mit Käse gefüllte Tortellini, 2 mal Pommes und 5 Vorspeise-Salate. Bezahlt haben wir dafür 735 Kuna. Das Essen war super, die Preise waren aber nicht gerade günstig. Die Atmosphäre war okay und die Bedienung nett und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt aber auch schwach besucht.
