B&B Spavalica — Hotel in Općina Vir

The apartment is far from Jadra beach (the most beautiful beach of the Island.) and hard to reach.(you need GPS to find it,is not at the main road). The yard is not well kept, is old and he has some personal things deposited in one corner. The general aspect is not so welcoming. The apartments are situated at the first floor; the stairs are not safe for the children. The parking was across the street, in a field –nothing arranged. In our apartment the smell was heavy, could be also because the kitchen was open , with no separate door. It is actually only one small kitchenette with very few appliances. You have to be prepared with your own stuff! The door of the fridge was broken, to stay closed we used one chair!(the smell from the fridge was also awful…..) the freezer had not door so because the fridge was not closing properly, the melted ice was draining on our food from the fridge. The AC was only on the kitchen hall, and because they were no mosquito nets we had to sleep with AC on nonstop. It was very hot, and lot of mosquito and the AC was barely reaching to the bedrooms. In one of the bedrooms (with twins beds) –one of the beds was broken. We announced the owner even since we arrived, he said he will solve this. We went to the beach, and in the evening when we returned- the bed was the same. He solved this, by bringing another bed (a very old, smelling and tall one) at 23:30 o’clock. They have also a restaurant in the same yard and the owner is busy with this all the time. He solved our problem in the midnight, when he closed the restaurant. Although he says he has one terrace, it can’t be used (it seems that 2 days before we go there was a storm that destroyed it).I have stained some clothes because of his clothes dryer- it had rust under the wires…I don’t recommend this location. You can find much better in the area. Is one nice Island and is a shame to ruin...

Sehr moderne, saubere Zimmer mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht (Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, TV, Klimaanlage, Fön, Duschgel, Shampoo usw.) Wir hatten Halbpension mit einem super reichhaltigem Frühstück und zum Abendessen gab es ein 3-Gänge Menü (wahlweise Fisch/Fleisch zusammengestellt aus der regulären Karte), was sehr lecker :-) Auf der Karte gibt es aber auch vegetarische Gerichte, daher ist da nach Absprache sicherlich auch ein entsprechendes Menü möglich. Sehr sehr nette Gastgeber, äußerst Kinder und Hundefreundlich
