Plitvice Antico — Hotel in Općina Vrhovine

I can't recommend Plitvice Antico enough! My fiance and I stayed at Antico in July 2023 on our Europe trip and by far it has to be our favourite place we've stayed at! The room we booked exceeded our expectations, beautifully furnished, very tidy and well equiped with the essentials. You're surrounded by the beautiful nature away from all the noise, was so peaceful and relaxing. The sunsets here are by far the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen, truly out of a painting! Also only a 30min drive to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The owners are a wonderful married couple, they were so kind and helpful on our stay. Lastly the food and drinks just WOW! My favourite being the breakfast omelette sandwich, MUST TRY! From the homemade cheeses, sarma, pasta, crepes, coffee, elderberry syrup and not to forget the liquor. Was truly an experience my fiance and I wont forget! Wish we could've stayed longer, can't wait to come back...

We stayed at Antico in August 2022 and it was simply superb. The place is run by a married couple and one can really get useful insights into married life by just observing them as they whizz about handling everything seemingly effortlessly. The suite and room we booked were splendid, the cleanest accommodation we've ever seen, the setting was serene with a magnificent view and occasional glimpses of wildlife. The food was SPECTACULAR - we took all of our meals there.
