Came for a short break and something to eat completely by chance.
Very hospitable hostess came to greet us. The limited skills in English was overcome by the grandson, so we managed to place an order for some halloumi and fries.
A bit awkward fellow with a grumpy almost hostile look on his face were looking at our company from a couple of tables away, seemingly being a part of the establishment. Must be the same guy I saw a review earlier on, really a creepy guy that seemed to seek for trouble. Keep your distance if you see him!
Took a stroll in the garden to see the surroundings, that is a bit sparse but lovely. The area with the swings in the trees was lovely, but needs someone to prune it a bit.
The old relic from the monastery is not much to look at to be honest.
Very much at the countryside with livestock close by, tractors and agriculture areas pretty much at the front step.
Free WiFi is a plus, but it took a while for the food to arrive, but it was very good indeed!

The nature and beaches of the Karpaz Peninsula alone are worth a holiday in Cyprus. Elausa Hotel & Restaurant is in the middle of a forest. One can only hope that the property speculation will not arrive here too and that the people living on the peninsula will stop the construction of new settlements with the consequent destruction of nature. Excellent breakfasts. Also satisfied with the fish had for dinner. We would like to stay again. Of the Elausa Monastery, only the church building (inside which Christian worship is maintained, I think not officially) and some ruins of the...
