Exotic Hotel & SPA — Hotel in İskele Belediyesi

I was staying at the MC Palace Hotel in Catalkoy but was going to visit the Karpaz and Salamis over 2 days so decided to book the Exotic Hotel for 2 nights. 'Appo?' on reception is super friendly and helpful! He's been working at the hotel for 25 years so knows what is what! The side seaview from my first room was hidden by palm trees so (Appo?) changed it for another which had a great view. The tv wouldn't work when I tried it so a young guy was sent to sort it but he couldn't. He rang (Appo?) who was there in minutes, despite having finished his shift, and they changed it for another tv and satellite box ❤️ Their website had stated cable/satellite tv but it wasn't, just free Turkish to air tv which was disappointing as I like to watch a film after my dinner as I was travelling by myself. I had a couple of problems with the room card too but the lovely night porter sorted it, with a little help from Google translate 😂 The outside areas are a little tired but it was out of season when I stayed in November and I did see 2 members of staff painting it. The breakfast in the morning is adequate, 1 english sausage, 2 slices of back bacon, 2 fried eggs and beans. Plenty of toast and help yourself to tea & coffee. I only saw 2 different cereals and no cheeses or ham but it still sets you up for the day and is served until 11am! They use the restaurant over the road in the evening and I found it very reasonable with a really friendly waiter. I had the lamb chops and they were delicious!
