Panoramic Village Apartments — Hotel in Mazotos

A couple of months ago, we had the pleasure of returning to Cyprus and were really looking forward to the trip. We stayed in a small town called Mazotos, which was lovely—very quiet and out of the way, with friendly people. Mazotos isn’t far from Larnaca Airport, which was convenient for us. We booked one of the penthouse apartments at Panoramic Village.||The four of us arrived near midnight, hot, tired, and eager for sleep. Unfortunately, the apartment was hot and stuffy, with a musty, unpleasant smell. We hoped to find some cold water, milk, tea, or coffee to drink upon our arrival, but the cupboards and fridge were empty. When we switched on the lights, the electrical system tripped, and despite our efforts, it continued to do so every time. Frustrated, we decided to go to bed.||The following morning, the caretaker and an electrician came to fix the issue. He found that the bathroom light had water in it. Upon further inspection of the apartment, we were disappointed with the cleanliness. The toilet in the main bathroom was disgusting, with stale urine around the outside of the basin. The bathroom mirror clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The living/kitchen area was dusty and unfortunately, TV didn’t work throughout our stay. The fridge was overheating until we moved the ironing board from behind it. ||The rooftop area had potential but lacked shade and was dusty, with copious amounts of pigeon droppings on the furniture. Speaking of pigeons, the empty apartment block behind us was overrun by them, contributing to the issue. The pool area could have been a lovely escape from the heat, but the lounge chairs were in poor condition, with three out of the five being damaged. Additionally, the amount of rubbish around the pool was really off-putting.||Overall, I’m afraid we wouldn’t choose to stay at those apartments again. While the complex didn’t spoil our holiday, it certainly didn’t...

We came to cyprus for a family holiday - including our two toddlers. We booked the penthouse apartment in mazotos as our mother in law stayed previously few years back and said her stay was quite pleasant. We thought it would be convenient for relaxing with the kids. On arrival we wasn't keen just because we could already tell the apartment wasn't very clean and the WiFi was extremely poor but we tried to remain positive. We spoke with the manager on site who got a cleaner in again just because the dust was horrendous. He also said he will try to resolve the wifi but its "normal" for the complex to get poor wifi and us moving rooms would be pointless as it wouldnt be any different elsewhere. We got to the second day and realised that the WIFI wasn't improving, the penthouse which was ontop of the apartment wasn't full of dust and filth. Our feet were black just by going up there and I couldn't hang any of our washing up there to dry because the pegs and washing line were black. But what made the stay even more interesting is how we found two massive cockcroaches running around the kids bedroom. That for us was enough to leave - so we packed up our things and decided to leave the premises immediately. We ended up finding another place to stay which caused us nothing but stress having to pack and unpack our things. We wasted two days of our holiday stressing about the apartment so much that we didnt get to enjoy being in the sun or using any of the swimming facilities. There are three pools but none looked cleaned what so ever. Not to mention how the location of the apartments is 30 minutes to larnaca centre and you have to drive through dirt roads to get there. It just wasn't for us at all here and we wouldnt...

Am stat aici o saptamana in octombrie intr-un aprtament cu 2 dormitoare, 2 bai,living si balcon. Bucataria are cuptor microunde, plita, cuptor, frigider, masina de spalat haine, putine oale pt gatit(noi am primit o oala de 1 litru si o tigaie, a trebuit sa cerem in plus), putina vesela(aprox. 4 boluri, 4 farfurii plate, 4-6 pahare, cam cate 4-6 tacamuri) deci cam tot timpul trebuie sa le speli. Apartamentul l-am primit gol dpdv al mancarii, adica nici un condiment(sare, piper, ulei, zahar). Masa in living e suficient de mare pt 4 persoane. In living am avut o canapea si un fotoliu confortabile. In dormitorul principal saltea a fost ok, fara arcuri. In dormitorul secundar am avut 2 paturi single cu saltele cu arcuri, nu foarte comode. Clima era in fiecare camera. Noi am stat cu geamurile deschise si nu erau tantari, in schimb daca un vecin statea pe balcon si povesteau normal(adica nu rasete in hohote) nu puteai dormi cu geamul deschis(balconul vecinului era la aprox 10 m de camera noastra). Wi-Fi era de ~10MBs. Era un singur adaptor la priza pt stecher european. Apa calda era doar la dus, daca vroiai si altundeva sau nu stiu cum functiona trebuia apasat un buton si intr-o ora aveai apa calda. Noi nu l-am folosit. Ne-am obisnuit sa spalam cu apa rece. Si acum ce era pe langa. Piscina se incalzeste de la soare, in octombrie era mai rece ca in mare dar era ok. Era un parc langa cazare, dar nu era tare ingrijit. In sat era o taverna dar e deschisa doar dupa masa, iar dimineata nu aveai nici o cafenea deschisa. In sat este un supermarket Mas care e dotat cu de toate: mancare, fructe, legume(la preturi foarte bune, in Larnaca pot fi mai scumpe ca aici), lactate, carne de pui, gasesti si prosoape, adaptoare de priza. Plaja Mazotos era la 5 min cu masina.

Am lasat doar ** pt ca ma asteptam la dotari mai bune(saltea, adaptor priza, vesela slaba, chestii de baza...
