Tavros — Hotel in Neo Chorio

Спонтанное решение поехать на Акамас превратилось в приключение выше всех ожиданий! Бронирование мы сделали уже в пути и приехали в поселок Нео Хорио ближе к вечеру. К нашему удивлению с наступлением темноты улицы в небольших городах пустеют и ничего не происходит. Потом нам рассказали, что это нормальное явление зимой и ранней весной, в низкий туристический сезон. Администраторы прекрасно говорят на английском и быстро помогли нам найти дорогу до апартаментов. Я предполагал, что нас ждет обычная квартира за приемлемую цену, их много в этом районе Кипра. Но Таврос превзошел все ожидания! Это небольшой апарт-отель с десятком двухэтажных вилл, отдельной зоной ресепшн и ресторана, с баром и бассейном. Ставлю твердую 10 на букинге! Наш номер находился на втором этаже угловой виллы: большая гостиная, совмещенная с кухней, санузел с ванной, уютная спальня с просторным балконом. С утра мы впечатлились завораживающим видом на горы и просторы Акамаса. ||||В отеле нет регулярных обедов и ужинов, подают только завтрак, но в 10 минутах пешком есть неплохая таверна и минимаркет, рекомендую. ||||Если вы решите готовить самостоятельно, то не забудьте заранее обратиться на ресепшн, чтобы в вашем номере включили подачу газа (в зимний период ее перекрывают по каким-то соображениям безопасности, но проблем это не доставляет, включают по запросу). ||||Завтрак стоит 7 евро, классический шведский стол. Достаточно, чтобы подкрепиться перед прогулкой по горным маршрутам. Вечером, после прогулок, очень приятно расположиться на балконе под пледом с чашечкой чая и наслаждаться закатом. ||||Огромное спасибо администратору Жанетт и менеджеру Доре за их помощь и гостеприимство! Это были лучшие две ночи на Кипре! Однозначно рекомендую Tavros Hotel Apartments и надеюсь вернуться еще раз. ||||As it was a spontaneous decision to spend two nights next to famous Akamas trials, we’ve made a reservation and arrived to the town of Neo Chorio late in the evening. We were a bit upset as the streets were dark, empty and nothing was going on. As we found out later it is ok for March in Cyprus (winter time, low season). Professional staff spoke good English on the phone and helped us to find Tavros in town. We expected it to be a regular apartment, but Tavros turned out to be a nice apart-hotel with a number of villas, separate reception and dining area and even a swimming pool. 10 out of 10 for booking.com property. The apartment with a living room, bathroom, a kitchenette and a bedroom with a balcony was located on the upper floor of the corner villa and next morning we were excited with the great view of the mountains and vastness of Akamas. ||||Be prepared that no lunch or dinner is served at the hotel and the bar is open only till 10 p.m. But there is a nice tavern just 10 minutes’ walk up the hill, which we highly recommend. A minimarket is next to the tavern if you wish to cook yourself at the apartment. Do not forget to inform reception so that they turn on the gas for your room. ||||Breakfast is served from 8:30 till 11:00, a traditional buffet that was a great start of our adventures. It was very nice to come back in the evening after a 10 km walk in the mountains and have a cup of tea in the balcony, watching the sunset. ||||Many thanks to Mrs. Janette (administrator) and Mrs. Dora (GM) for their help and hospitality. This is great for peace and quietness... all you hear is the insect sounds all day :) It has a large pool, while we were staying here not to many used it, so it felt like our own personal pool. It goes from 1 meter to 2.5 depth. The rooms are big, with a kitchinette, tv, large balcony facing the pool (for the room we stayed in). We were greated by a lovely english lady who showed us to our room. There is also a lovely tomcat resident here, who meows insistely when it sees you eating something :)) He has half a tail, and is very ignoring otherwise. One thing to mention is - do not stray from the main road,just don't go through narrow steep country roads unnecessarily. Stick to the main road, it will lead you there in the same distance and the same time and without the hassle of the narrow roads. Also use waze, not...

We have stayed in or around Neo Chorio a number of times so we are used to the area.||This was the first time we have stopped the Tavros.||The room and the facilities were very clean ||All staff were friendly and helpful.||The owners Dora & Odysseus went out of their way to make us very welcome.||Odysseus helped me with the car hire company I had booked when I had trouble with the car this was particularly helpful when they expected me to drive back Paphos to pick up another car luckily I did not have to.||The room we had was big and airy and cleaned every day which was a bonus||The pool was excellent||The hotel is in a quiet area which suits us ||You would benefit having a car to explore the immediate area of...
