House on the Hill B&B — Hotel in Peyia

This was our first time in Cyprus and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The room was superb, clean, bright and airy and we had a balcony where we could sit and watch the sun go down. There was a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, air conditioner, large bathroom and lovely fresh bedding and towels. The super pool was the perfect place for breakfast everyday and to have a swim. The views from the pool were glorious. Nothing was too much trouble for Sally and Jon the owners, and Jon was a mine of local information as to where to go and what to see. Sally produced whatever we wanted for breakfast, and it was always fresh and local. We had a good chat and laugh with Sally every morning which was lovely.||The house is only two kilometers from several restaurants and shops, should you need them but was quiet enough to soak up the peace and beauty of the area. We especially liked a local restaurant called Puerto Antico and had a couple of very good evening meals there. Lovely staff, good service and very tasty local food. ||We can't recommend this property highly enough, made all the better by the kindness and attention to detail from Sally and Jon. Should we visit Cyprus again we will be making a B- line for House on the Hill and...

We have just spent two wonderful nights at the House on the Hill's new accommodation “The Shack” and we couldn’t recommend it enough.||The Shack is fantastic, clean and comfortable with the most amazing views and sunsets. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sun go down puts a whole new meaning to the word relaxation. ||The owners Jon and Sally were amazing, down to earth, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, in fact we were made so welcome it was like staying with old friends. Jon’s knowledge of the local area and advice of places to visit was invaluable and Sally’s breakfast was a highlight of the trip, 100% recommended and made you look forward to getting up in the morning.||||We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay anymore and we will be back visiting again...

Семейный отель, сдается только один номер отдельно от основного дома (Отдыхали в июле и был почти достроен второй домик для гостей).||О номере: чистый, уютный, светлый. Панорамное окно с выходом на балкон и видом на город и море. В самом номере есть кондиционер, холодильник, TV, кофемашина, чайник со всеми принадлежностями (чай/кофе, чашки, ложки) отличный wi-fi (стабильный канал, достаточно для просмотра hd фильмов), хорошая душевая комната + остальные стандартные вещи (кровать, шкаф, стулья, и д.р). Вся техника и предметы в номере современные.||Отель: House on the Hill - превосходный гест-хаус. Продуманный интерьер, с различными мелкими деталями. Очень тихо, есть бассейн (немного меньше среднего размера), мягкие шезлонги, большой гриль, уютные места для отдыха. Отель находится в горах, до моря путь пешком займет около часа. Если не любите пешие прогулки, то лучше взять в аренду транспорт.||В доме Джона и Салли есть 2 собаки и кот - все наидружелюбные и приученные к туристам (можно потискать при желании :-) ), в зону для отдыха не допускаются.||Отдельно отмечу завтрак. Для него выбирается любое утреннее время. На столе можно найти свежие фрукты / хлопья / молоко /свежеприготовленные тосты / домашние оливки / кофе / чай и д.р. Основное блюдо обговаривается отдельно, так для нас Салли и Джон готовили яичницу и омлет с беконом - еда на вкус превосходна.||О самих хозяевах: были рады встретить Салли и Джона. Я никогда не встречал таких гостепреимных людей) Производят впечатление старых знакомых, которые давно ждали тебя в гости. Салли поможет с решением любой трудности в отеле, Джон - за его пределами, и расскажет о местных достопримечательностях, поможет с организацией экскурсий и арендой транспорта.||Крайне жаль, что останавились здесь всего на 3 дня, если бы была возможность остаться дольше, то обязательно бы ей...
