I had stayed at the chalet for one night with my friends.
The road towards the chalet is very narrow and rocky. And the signage board before entering the narrow road is not properly seen during the dark. The following should be amended in such a way that it can also be seen in the night. It makes it difficult for the guests to arrive at the place in the night.
If somehow the dirt road to this place can be smoothed and kept neat. It makes the travel more easier.
We arrived at the chalet in the night but was unable to open the master box. The host did not promptly reply to our messages and we had to call them. This is considered very disappointing.
It is the duty of the host to share the specific videos in order to open the master box, light the burner on the stove, how to lock the door etc.
We had to wait like 15 mins in the dark next to our chalet in the cold for the host to reply. Very dissatisfied.
The lock on the door is very old and requires a lot of force in order to lock the door inside and out.
The view in the morning is spectacular. And the rooms were cosy and the washroom was neat. The bath water became warm upon turning the nob.
Heaters could have been provided since it was like 10•C outside.
We had to make our breakfast on our own. To be honest I wasn’t happy about this. I was hoping for the host to prepare the breakfast as a service. I am coming here for a...
Read moreIt is like a hidden gem in the middle of the mountains. The ride there is a little rough with all the zig zags of the road and the little rough terrain, so make sure you be cautious with your tires. If you can be lucky enough to see the rare Mouflon (we were lucky) hopping along the mountain side on the way there. Once you get there though it is so peaceful, beautiful and divine. I say divine because you can feel the gods of the woods and nature. The cabins are simple and luxurious. You can tell there had been a lot of work put into building them. Each cabin (there are 4) has its own porch, private key, so theres no need to be bothered by other guests. Cozy comfortable bed, clean modern bathroom, wifi, hot water, they provide breakfast to cook on your own, wine and a bottle of water (be sure to stock up if you intend to stay for more than a day). There is a path for a nice long walk in the woods. There is a common area with a hammock to enjoy the peace, and a bbq spot to share. Any questions feel free to call the owner Marios, he was very friendly and helpful. Its a nice getaway resting spot and we intend to revisit.|What we noticed though, the neighbouring farmers do leave a lot of rubbish which has got nothing to do with the owner (we collected some rubbish on our walk to help), and the wifi password needs to be re-written...
Read moreParadise in a mountain setting. About a kilometre off the main road so feels very private. Only 4 cabins so would always be peaceful. We stayed February during a yellow weather warning so didn’t get to explore signposted forest walk from the site. We were able to walk the dog on the dirt track roads. Fire was a bit awkward to light but Marios and his mum were easy to contact by phone and very helpful. There is a gas canister single ring cooking stove and although we ran out of gas Marios let us go to the empty cabin next door to help ourselves to anything we were short of. As it was winter hot water was intermittent so expect a shock when showering 😂. With help again from Marios we got the Kerosene heater going which soon warmed up the cabin. Lovely terrace but you can see from the photos we didn’t use it but delighted our mountain trip was during snow ❄️. Would go back but in warmer weather to appreciate outside areas. Just remember your up a mountain so all creature comforts aren’t available. Just enjoy the seclusion and relax like we did. Excellent hospitality and...
