Penzion Filip — Hotel in Cheb District

Filip II Restaurant was a most pleasing dining experience. My wife and I will surely be adding this restaurant to our favorite places to eat in Marianske Lazne.||This restaurant is very clean, bright and homey. The food was better than excellent and the service provided by Martina was exceptional. She made our very first visit there very welcoming.||Filip II Restaurant is easy to find, just about a block off the bus route #3 and about a block past the Škola bus stop.||Near the end of this review are questions regarding the hotel. Being that our home is here in Marianske Lazne we do not have a need to stay at any hotel in Marianske Lazne, so my response to the questions following only included one yes simply because the hotel seems to be quaint. I visited ML with my friend few days ago and because I have heard that Filip is great place where to go we've decited to go there for lunch and I have to say that we are happy that we went there. Place looked great with nice atmosphere and great friendly service plus with pleasant prices as well..I had garlic soup and truly it was the best garlic soup I've had in my life,after we had beaf steak on pepper with grilled vegetable and pork medallions with potatoes - everything great. as a dessert we shared homemade cake with nuts - no worlds :) Just have to say that it was really lovely place where to spend time and have great lunch or dinner for good money.I really recommend this place...

This is the perfect place in great quiet location with nice restaurant and great home style cooking. It is not fancy, but all the right things are here. The staff is kind, attentive, and most accommodating. They are available when you need them and you feel like you are really welcome. Thoughtfulness, and more than what you need is here. If you want to stay as we do, in a great location, have everything we need and value, then this is your place and you can feel warm and welcome at a truly great place. I can't wait to return.
